Leap Year!!!

Morning all!

Can you believe it's the 1st of February already?!? my gosh this year is going pretty quick i only blinked and January was gone!! hehe!

I'm here this morning to tell you about the brand new challenge at The Craft Garden

This month's challenge see's a very inspirational picture.... check out the deet's on the challenge blog for more info! but it's all about LEAPING! LEAP YEAR!!! Yep your right 2012 see's feb as a leap year!!!

Unfortunatly I have chosen to step down from my Design Team Position from The Craft Garden from this month but i'd like to thank Kerry who has been absolutly wonderful and wish all the team the very best i've loved being on the team!

So naturally when i saw this theme i had to use....

Yep the cutest frog around!!! he's from pollycraft! i absolutly adore him hehe!! I must admit i'm quite chuffed with my card this morning it's got to be one of my fav's i've made in a while it's quite simple but so different colours than i'd normally make!!

How sweet is this sentiment! i really love it!! so sweet! i know just the friend to send it to at the moment no names but she'll know who she is when she gets it hehe!!

I'll be back later to add my card to any challenges it may fit but for now here it is!!!

The wonderful papers and image are from Debbee's CD's flowerflys and flutterbugs CD! it's so funky!!!

i decided to have ago at making my own notebooks! this is my first of many so sweet and cute!

Cold & Frosty Recipe...

Morning all!

I've a million and one christmas cards to get made for last min things and people but no time to do it all, so very tired from work nightmare at this time of year honestly! Supermarkets are closed for ONE day not a year!! honest i should know i work there!!! hehe!! anyways.....

I've dug out my favourite Tilda for today's creation she's so pretty and such a wonderful stamp to colour her name is 'silent night tilda' and you'd of seen her alot on my blog last christmas if your a regular! I ♥ Her!! she's defo my fav christmas stamp well... that was before the new collection came out! ok who am i kidding tho i have thinned my tildies collection as it erm got a bit croweded that's all i'll say!

Cold and frosty!

Now normally i would create three cards one for each challenge but i loved how this one turned out so i thought it'd be nice to show this one off a little more and combined it!

I've used some gorjuss ribbon i found at my local hab shop which was 30p a meter (same ribbon on the market £1 a meter) so of course i went back to my hab shop and brought more!! hehe a girl can never have too much ribbon ASK EMMA!

hehe....

So.... from the craft Garden's challenge i picked Turquoise, Snowflakes, ribbon and office supply which i used a sweet paperclip which i brought yonks ago from fancy pants.....

Hello all!!! i'm on my hol's from work again! I'm sooo eeeekkkk excited that i'll be going to the NEC on saturday!!! I've a list as long as my arm! Soooo squeely excited!! Can you tell??

Actually i found this a tad bit difficult even sat and thought right i can do this started colouring and realised i'd coloured an image in green! IDIOT!!! LOL yeah i do beat myself up if i dont get it right lol

so out came my trusty tilda's of course! I wanted to create something a little diffrent so went with the colours blue silver/grey and white! and i must say i looove how my card turned out i may actually send this to moi for christmas hehe (kidding!!)

Sassy Friends... & DT Call

Morning all!

I can't quite believe it's the 1st of October already!!!

This year is certainly flying by in the wink of an eye!! It'll soon be christmas so out comes all my christmas papers stamps and thingys oooo... i've got to get a move on this year with christmas orders flowing out of my ears already!!

But today i'm here to show you my brand new project for this month's DT work at The Craft Garden!

As you can see i've used the adorable 'little light of mine' simply sassy stamp, she's one of my favourites i think, tho i do tend to love them all and neeeeed them all in my stamp collection (just dont tell hubby he'll shout!!) haha

This Month over at The Craft Garden it's not exactly a challenge... well it is... but... it's also a DT Call!!!

We're looking for some fab fresh new designers to come play with us! there's a wonderful piccy to gain inspiration from but basically we want to SEE YOUR STYLE! Hop over to the Challenge blog for more details, but be warned, you've not got all month... the DT call will close on the 16th October so Kerry can make the toughy choice for the new DT to join us ready for November 1st!!!

So back to my card this morning.... I took inspiration to give my card a vintagey flowery theme from the piccy over at the challenge blog but also at the same time wanted to show my style... that being PINK! of course!! com'on you wouldn't want it any other way would you??? hehe!

I've used the grojuss sassy coloured with promarkers and lots of glitter, the new collection of Kaisercraft papers which i absolutly adore these ones, they're called Chanteuse! so pretty full of greens pinks and browns! along with rubon's!!! i know shock there for me also by kaisercraft same collection!

The little wooden ribbon slider i brought last march at the NEC and truth be told i'd actually forgot i'd brought them until the redeisgning of my craftroom when i found them.... they're on my shopping list for NEC this november again as i do like them! (P.s is anyone going the Sunday?? if so let me know could meety up!)

Beautiful Blooms & Butterflys!

Good morning all!

I'm here with a brand new project i've been absolutly dying to show ya all!!

I made it back at the start of august espechially for the new challenge this month at The Craft Garden!

Yup! would you believe i've made a card with absolutly NO Stamping involved! now that is a rare thing for me! Kerry The lovely owner from The craft garden sent all her DT's a mixture of beautiful blooms and bits for our cards/projects this month!

I was like oooooohhhhh and awwww when it came! i absolutly adore the prima butterfly to which i am going to have to buy some more!! haha!!

Don't ya agree it's so pretty in real like! all the crochet flowers are also handmade by kerry herself and has lots of different bloom sets for sale a real must to go have a look at her shop! i know for one i've really enjoyed making my DT card for this month!

This little birdie has candy! Now closed

Hey all!

I'm a little late with today's post because i woke up to no internet this morning! (Virgin media are not my friends right now and they're slowly but surly going to loose another customer to sky if they're not careful!!)

But hey ho! I finally got here!

Apologies now for this extra long post that's because i'm celebrating my birthday this month (24th July) to be exact and would like to share the excitment with my fellow followers and blog buddys! with a little candy! But...... before we do that.....

I've got to spread the word about this month's challenge at The Craft Garden!!!

July is the month for the census of swans did you know that? I certainly didn't I knew they were protected something or another to do with the Queen! you can read more about how they count them here!

So naturally this months challenge theme is....

BIRDS

I've dug out my new stamps from magnolia once again this beautiful new background has some lovely little birdies on, i must say it's truly wonderful to colour, again i've gone for another colourful card out of my comfort zone! (i really must find some more stamps to use i'm addicted to magnolia too much one thinks.. is that a good thing or bad???) hehe

I've been wanting a martha stewart punch around the page set for a while right, but never quite got round to buying one well i've a few on order, but incase your wondering todays card isn't a punch around the page! nope i did it with nellie snellens dies!! i love how this card came out as the image was orignally going on what i call one of my ''normal'' style cards but i wasn't happy with it as the image was quite big the backing papers where quite lost so i thought of this idea!

All the colouring except the skin tones are with my fav pencils prisma's of course! and i've dug out my fav sizzix swirl die once again (can't get enough of this!) I've used the gorjuss Tilda with bunny stamp from magnolia and the brand new Bird Background from the new rainbow collection which i've been dying to ink up and colour!

So yes, before i get on to my candy! woohoo!! here's my final card!

Wedding Song... & some news...

Good morning all!

Rather a long post this morning so ya may wanna grab a cuppa and be comfy! lol i've lots of things to share!!!

Firstly i'm here with my DT creation for the wonderful Craft Garden Challenge blog!

This months Theme is

'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and something blue!'

 I really enjoyed making my project for this months challenge as it brought back my fond memories and stresses of wedding planning for my own wedding this time last year (my gosh how quick has it flown by!).....

 My something old, had to be my oldie die cut sizzix swirls one of my favourites i've had for yonks!

My something new, was the beautiful ribbons i was able to pick up from Poppicrafts end of line stocks on ebay!! Such a shame Michelle had to close shop i really loved poppicrafts!

My something Borrowed, was the magnolia stamps i dont own them (need them tho on list!!) i borrowed a while back from my friend

And finally my something blue... well that's obvious really.....

 I adore this paper from the lil boy lost collection from craftwork cards it's so sweet and soft vanilla colour hearts in flowers are so sweet and elegant....

I added the flowers from wild orchids again they matched my paper sooo well (hate having to sift through things to find matches) but i loooove these flowers!! hehe

Dancing Around The May Pole

Morning all!

1st of may!! Spring is well and truly here now!!

I'm here today with my DT creation at The Craft Garden!

This month's challenge is based on the inspirational piccy of a maypole!! hop over to the challenge to see!!!

My card this morning was inspired by a Magnolia make i saw months ago by the lovely Mary from the Magnolia DT, she created a lovely maypole card so i thought i'd have ago at one myself!

I don't normally like some of the border strips that come out from docrafts they're not me, but i really liked the sunflower fence that was out last year, im running low on it now so fingers crossed i'll pick some more up from the website!

Here's my finished card! I actually impressed myself the way it came out because there's quite a mix of colours i was suprised how well it all went together!

4 is the magic number....

Good Morning all!

A Pinch and a punch... hehe maybe a pinch of glitter then?!?! it's the 1st of April already! How quick these weeks are flying by!

I'm on holiday this week from work! Really enjoying my break!! Been out and about all week i've had so little time to play with all my goodies and before i know it i'll be back to work on sunday!!

Now then... I've been looking forward to today for ages!! hehe as you know I'm on the Design Team at The Craft Garden!! and it's our very first challenge today!!! Wooooooooo hooooooooo!! hey and did you know the lovely Kerry @ The craft Garden has also re-opened her shop yay!!! she's got some gorjuss flowers over there! go now peek!! spend spend spend!!! (talking of spending ssssshhhhh i went slighty mad at the glitterpot yesterday stalking my postie today haha)

Anyways.... back to the challenge!

With April being the Fourth month of the year our inspiration for this months challenge has had to have been................

FOUR!!!

I pondered on this challenge for about a week before i set to work! dug into my new prima neglected pads and my trusty distress inks to create todays project which i've used 4 butterflys, 4 swirls, and in the 2 corners 4 dew drops!
