Celebrate you!

Morning all!

There's a brand new challenge over at That Craft Place this fortnight! And our theme this time around is....

Make a box or Decorate one!

Now.... this scared the hell out of me! i'm not one for altering things espechially boxes they always go pear shaped! i've tried and tried and failed miserably! so... in good ole Carlyann fashion i kinda cheated but kinda didn't i still technically made my box! and i decorated it!!! haha!!

I opt'd for the easy option of making a card box and a card! haha! But i challenged myself to use The Octopode stamps the way i would use them! not the grunge weird way that is still lovely but not my style, if you get me! sooooo.... here's what i came up with....

I first created an easel card....

Which i totally love how it came out! and when folded looks like this...

Loving the colour scheme i may add!

And then... i created my matching box...

Pretty funky i think! so can't give this away! think it's going in my cabinet of to keeps! hehe! I'm loving these Octopode stamps i never thought in a million years they'd be my thing i guess that just goes to show you may think somethings not for you unless you try it!!!

Here's my final two together.... and don't forget That Craft Place now stocks Octopode Factory Stamps too!!

Did someone say Summer???

Evening all!

So this week see's a brand new set of Digital Stamps come out from the talented Jo! at Time For Tea Designs! OMG! When i received her DT e-mail i had, had like 2/3 hours sleep and sooooo couldn't go back to bed i just wanted to colour!!! And that i did....

I love this month's release! they're so fun!!! I'm loving trying different hair colours too and these pretty girls are so great to try that out with the long hair!!

So today i'm here to showcase ''Girl with Giant Ice Cream'' ooooo i could so have one of those right now *note to self im on a diet! (doing really well nearly 2 stone in 3 weeks gone) anyhooo... stop rambling carlyann and get to the point... so this beautiful stamp when coloured looks a little like this...

ooo seriously making me want one now! haha!! so you can kinda see faintly the chalked background with clouds i used my chalks!! *shock* i know!!

Hey all!

Oooo it's been over a week since i've posted i've been mega busy with orders and being full of cold and flu isn't good and isn't making me get much done!

I'm here today to show a quite simple card I made last week but haven't had chance to get around to post!

Today's Image is a newbie from the fantastic Time For Tea Designs ''Girl Texting'' I love this digi it's so relevant and so NOW! reminds me of well... me! lol i'm hooked on my iphone i'm always on it haha!

For today's card i've used the beautiful spring papers from Prima called Hello Pastel, which i brought at the NEC! (I know i'm using my new things, get me!!) totally not like me i normally hoard for months haha!, The sentiment is actually from MFT A'la mode's, which i thought was perfect for her!
