Two posts in one day from me!

Well i've been a busy bunny today making lots of things inbetween chatting on facebook (my gosh its addictive) so much so i actually have to go out of the room else i won't get things done!

Anyways, i'm here with my latest creation! feels like ages since i made anything as i've had so many nights at work! nothing like a good challenge!

Talking of challenge's this cards for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge Recipe this week (1 Ribbon i used 1/2 a meter long infact!! haha , 1 chipboard, 1 flower) i must admit i did strugle as i normally use alot more than just one flower!! haha! but i love the little spotty pink chipboard uptop of my card it's been in my drawer shouting at me to use it for yonks!

I absolutly adore this kraftin kimmie image! such a darling to colour! I've dug out my promarkers coloured entirelly with them too! (shock i know) it's been a while! but i do love my markers (ssshhh don't tell my s

noirs) that! or hubby for that matter!

It's been a while since i have done a not so crowed card to and really enjoyed making this one! she's defo a firm favourite now! the cards been a commison for me to make all i got told 'pig!' right............. strange but hey!

Anniversary Wishes...

Morning all!

I hope everyone is safe this morning with these awful riots going on here in london and other places in england! Only last night they started in birmingham and wolvo which is just down the road from me... it's very bad! and quite scary really knowing it's just down the road, my thoughts are with those people in the worst affected areas! I've never seen anything like it in my life time!

Anyways... i'm here this morning with a new project of mine, it seems August is the month in my family for anniversarys with the 7th just gone was my first! the 14th being hubbys parents and the 16th being my parents anniversary i get to create some lovely dovely cards! I'm so unbelievably busy this month i've not even got another day off for the next 10! eekkkk i'm going to be zonked at the end of it all! i soooo need a day job haha!

Todays card is one i made for my mum and step dad!

I've dug out my LOTV Cute square images, it's such a shame i think for LOTV to have discontinued the 20packs of these they're so handy when needing to make a quick card!

I've gone for a colour combo of pink, green and ivory for today's card as my parents are celebrating there 14th year of marriage traditionally it's Ivory for this year!

I even had a go at making my own lace flower which i must say was fiddlyer than i thought it was going to be but very easy! may do a tutorial on these if anyone would like one!

Even squeezed a handmade pin in there too, i'm addicted to making these pins at the moment they add something a little extra special to cards i think! tho be warned ya get stabbed abit whilst making them... well... i do haha!!

Fluffy Flower mouse!...

Afternoon all!

Hope all's well in the land of blogging!! And everyone's having a nice day!
It's unsual for me to have a monday off unless i'm on holiday lol! so i thought i'd make the most of it and have a crafty day!

But i totally forgot to show you a housemouse card that i made last week for my friend's birthday!

I absolutly adore the cuteness of the house mouse deisgns, this one monic on puff ball i've had for yonks and i think she makes a lovely card espech this shape!!

I've cut all the flower designs on my cricut and punched all the flowers out! added some bling and coloured my lil mouse in with promarkers and prismacolours! and added eyelets with tiny bows to create the open and closing of the card!

Gone Fishing.... & Kitty Kat Poorly...

Hiya All...

I need to apologise for the lack of posts this week i've been terribly busy with my poorly kitty, Those of you who visit my blog know i have two puddy cats Apple & Strudel (some met strudel on his post last week).

Be warned a bit of a long post!

Well.... my nightmare began at 10pm sunday evening just as i was about to go to work i noticed strudel was in his litter tray with blood in it... ekkk! I had to go to work but panic set in whilst i was there i was sooo worried about him i couldn't concentrate got my self in a right mess whilst working thinking the worst as you do... anyways... i came home monday morning unsure what to do i'd read all sorts on the internet what it could be but i decided a trip to the vets was a defo!

I don't trust our normal vets they seem to be the type to think of us as a young couple and rip us off with excuses after excuses making us spend more, so i took him to another vets reccomended to me by my friend emma, and also where my mum's doggie is registered, i must admit they were fantastic, throughly explained everything too me!

After some tummy checks and a not so nice thermomitor up his bum (which i might add he did not aprove off!) hubby found it quite funny that's how they take a cats temp! he was sent home with a couple of injections some crystaid and me told to get a water sample!!!
(how simple is that with two cats???) so bearing in mind its now 2pm monday afternoon i've been up since 9pm sunday night... Strudies off into my bedroom with me so i can get some kip and a spare litter tray with special litter to enable me to get one for the vet.... meooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww

pppppppppurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... nooooo sleep wouldn't settle having apple outside bedroom door crying for him... 9pm monday night came no sign of being able to get a water sample, i had to go to work.... not only this but i've had to suringe water into his mouth every hour or so just to flush his system.... so off i trots to work, leaving him in my bedroom hoping to come back to a nice sample lol!!!

(gross i know!!) but it has to be done! come back tuesday morning after being up god knows how many hours and finally able to take his sample back to the vet for testing.... phone call at 10am Strudel has blood in his water! and larasites, (so off back to the vets for antibiotics...)

£75 later.... and it's now Thursday evening, his water is i think no longer bloody but he's wanting alot of love and cuddles, hubbys been off for two days looking after him, very sleepy cat but he seems to be on the mend, at least it's not crystals which is life threatening in a male cat! (which is why i paniced) i know you shouldn't have favourites but Strudie's my cat and i love him to bits lol

He's got to have another sample done tuesday for the vet to test so fingers crossed he'll get the all clear!

So yeah.... apologies for not being around at all! i've been looking after my cat! I've not managed to get any of my DT commitments done this week eeeek!! Don't forget to check out the fab new challenge at Charisma today! and the new challenge from Team Abi on saturday at sweet stampin' i'm hoping by middle of next week as i'm on holiday from work to be back to normal!!!

but for now i'll leave you with a card i created last week.... but before i do... look how comfy Strudies taken to my sofa poorly boy!

My Card today is one i created last week or so ago i've just not got around to posting it unfortunatly... been playing with my new fishing tilda, when i first saw her i thought what a fab stamp for a male card! even though she's female!!

I've used promarkers on today's card, a firm favourite medium of mine i must admit! Tho i am going for Copic Certification at the end of this year!! woo hoo i so can't wait i just need to save up for my full sets of copic sketches!!! very many pennys! hehe

I've added a few 3D elements to my card today including the fish at the end of tilda's rod and the fish bowl at the side, i came across these for 49p they were actually part of a set that i brought from the works in our local shopping center! fab bargain!

All of a flutter....

Morning all!

well... i should really say dinner time now!

I'm here today as i'd had a early finish at work last night so was able to zonk out and have the day to myself today!!! yay!! but before that I want to show you a new project i've been working on! now you know how i looooooooveeeeee PINK...... and butterflys......... and sparkle...... and flowers............... well......................

One of my favourite things about nature is butterflies! so much so i've 9 butterfly tattoo's on my back but that's another story, so when i first saw this beautiful butterfly from magnolia i wasn't entirely sure weather i'd use it! Turns out i LOOOOVVVE it!!! as always hehe!!! and so i had to buy the mini world version too there soooo sweet!!

I'd like to enter my card to this weeks TOMIC challenge which is shimmer & pearls, perfect theme for my card, as i've used my trusty pearlys and lots of glitter on my butterflys and around my card it'self with a touch of white shimmers on my flowers (hope you can see on pic!) lol

I'm loving all these pink papers that magnolia are bringing out at the moment so much so i find myself looking at them for ages not wanting to cut them up lol

I'd also like to enter my card over at Just Magnolia who's theme this week is butterflys!
