Two posts in one day from me!

Well i've been a busy bunny today making lots of things inbetween chatting on facebook (my gosh its addictive) so much so i actually have to go out of the room else i won't get things done!

Anyways, i'm here with my latest creation! feels like ages since i made anything as i've had so many nights at work! nothing like a good challenge!

Talking of challenge's this cards for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge Recipe this week (1 Ribbon i used 1/2 a meter long infact!! haha , 1 chipboard, 1 flower) i must admit i did strugle as i normally use alot more than just one flower!! haha! but i love the little spotty pink chipboard uptop of my card it's been in my drawer shouting at me to use it for yonks!

I absolutly adore this kraftin kimmie image! such a darling to colour! I've dug out my promarkers coloured entirelly with them too! (shock i know) it's been a while! but i do love my markers (ssshhh don't tell my s

noirs) that! or hubby for that matter!

It's been a while since i have done a not so crowed card to and really enjoyed making this one! she's defo a firm favourite now! the cards been a commison for me to make all i got told 'pig!' right............. strange but hey!

Anniversary Wishes...

Morning all!

I hope everyone is safe this morning with these awful riots going on here in london and other places in england! Only last night they started in birmingham and wolvo which is just down the road from me... it's very bad! and quite scary really knowing it's just down the road, my thoughts are with those people in the worst affected areas! I've never seen anything like it in my life time!

Anyways... i'm here this morning with a new project of mine, it seems August is the month in my family for anniversarys with the 7th just gone was my first! the 14th being hubbys parents and the 16th being my parents anniversary i get to create some lovely dovely cards! I'm so unbelievably busy this month i've not even got another day off for the next 10! eekkkk i'm going to be zonked at the end of it all! i soooo need a day job haha!

Todays card is one i made for my mum and step dad!

I've dug out my LOTV Cute square images, it's such a shame i think for LOTV to have discontinued the 20packs of these they're so handy when needing to make a quick card!

I've gone for a colour combo of pink, green and ivory for today's card as my parents are celebrating there 14th year of marriage traditionally it's Ivory for this year!

I even had a go at making my own lace flower which i must say was fiddlyer than i thought it was going to be but very easy! may do a tutorial on these if anyone would like one!

Even squeezed a handmade pin in there too, i'm addicted to making these pins at the moment they add something a little extra special to cards i think! tho be warned ya get stabbed abit whilst making them... well... i do haha!!

Fluffy Flower mouse!...

Afternoon all!

Hope all's well in the land of blogging!! And everyone's having a nice day!
It's unsual for me to have a monday off unless i'm on holiday lol! so i thought i'd make the most of it and have a crafty day!

But i totally forgot to show you a housemouse card that i made last week for my friend's birthday!

I absolutly adore the cuteness of the house mouse deisgns, this one monic on puff ball i've had for yonks and i think she makes a lovely card espech this shape!!

I've cut all the flower designs on my cricut and punched all the flowers out! added some bling and coloured my lil mouse in with promarkers and prismacolours! and added eyelets with tiny bows to create the open and closing of the card!

Gone Fishing.... & Kitty Kat Poorly...

Hiya All...

I need to apologise for the lack of posts this week i've been terribly busy with my poorly kitty, Those of you who visit my blog know i have two puddy cats Apple & Strudel (some met strudel on his post last week).

Be warned a bit of a long post!

Well.... my nightmare began at 10pm sunday evening just as i was about to go to work i noticed strudel was in his litter tray with blood in it... ekkk! I had to go to work but panic set in whilst i was there i was sooo worried about him i couldn't concentrate got my self in a right mess whilst working thinking the worst as you do... anyways... i came home monday morning unsure what to do i'd read all sorts on the internet what it could be but i decided a trip to the vets was a defo!

I don't trust our normal vets they seem to be the type to think of us as a young couple and rip us off with excuses after excuses making us spend more, so i took him to another vets reccomended to me by my friend emma, and also where my mum's doggie is registered, i must admit they were fantastic, throughly explained everything too me!

After some tummy checks and a not so nice thermomitor up his bum (which i might add he did not aprove off!) hubby found it quite funny that's how they take a cats temp! he was sent home with a couple of injections some crystaid and me told to get a water sample!!!
(how simple is that with two cats???) so bearing in mind its now 2pm monday afternoon i've been up since 9pm sunday night... Strudies off into my bedroom with me so i can get some kip and a spare litter tray with special litter to enable me to get one for the vet.... meooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww

pppppppppurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..... nooooo sleep wouldn't settle having apple outside bedroom door crying for him... 9pm monday night came no sign of being able to get a water sample, i had to go to work.... not only this but i've had to suringe water into his mouth every hour or so just to flush his system.... so off i trots to work, leaving him in my bedroom hoping to come back to a nice sample lol!!!

(gross i know!!) but it has to be done! come back tuesday morning after being up god knows how many hours and finally able to take his sample back to the vet for testing.... phone call at 10am Strudel has blood in his water! and larasites, (so off back to the vets for antibiotics...)

£75 later.... and it's now Thursday evening, his water is i think no longer bloody but he's wanting alot of love and cuddles, hubbys been off for two days looking after him, very sleepy cat but he seems to be on the mend, at least it's not crystals which is life threatening in a male cat! (which is why i paniced) i know you shouldn't have favourites but Strudie's my cat and i love him to bits lol

He's got to have another sample done tuesday for the vet to test so fingers crossed he'll get the all clear!

So yeah.... apologies for not being around at all! i've been looking after my cat! I've not managed to get any of my DT commitments done this week eeeek!! Don't forget to check out the fab new challenge at Charisma today! and the new challenge from Team Abi on saturday at sweet stampin' i'm hoping by middle of next week as i'm on holiday from work to be back to normal!!!

but for now i'll leave you with a card i created last week.... but before i do... look how comfy Strudies taken to my sofa poorly boy!

My Card today is one i created last week or so ago i've just not got around to posting it unfortunatly... been playing with my new fishing tilda, when i first saw her i thought what a fab stamp for a male card! even though she's female!!

I've used promarkers on today's card, a firm favourite medium of mine i must admit! Tho i am going for Copic Certification at the end of this year!! woo hoo i so can't wait i just need to save up for my full sets of copic sketches!!! very many pennys! hehe

I've added a few 3D elements to my card today including the fish at the end of tilda's rod and the fish bowl at the side, i came across these for 49p they were actually part of a set that i brought from the works in our local shopping center! fab bargain!

All of a flutter....

Morning all!

well... i should really say dinner time now!

I'm here today as i'd had a early finish at work last night so was able to zonk out and have the day to myself today!!! yay!! but before that I want to show you a new project i've been working on! now you know how i looooooooveeeeee PINK...... and butterflys......... and sparkle...... and flowers............... well......................

One of my favourite things about nature is butterflies! so much so i've 9 butterfly tattoo's on my back but that's another story, so when i first saw this beautiful butterfly from magnolia i wasn't entirely sure weather i'd use it! Turns out i LOOOOVVVE it!!! as always hehe!!! and so i had to buy the mini world version too there soooo sweet!!

I'd like to enter my card to this weeks TOMIC challenge which is shimmer & pearls, perfect theme for my card, as i've used my trusty pearlys and lots of glitter on my butterflys and around my card it'self with a touch of white shimmers on my flowers (hope you can see on pic!) lol

I'm loving all these pink papers that magnolia are bringing out at the moment so much so i find myself looking at them for ages not wanting to cut them up lol

Feeling Spooky!!!....

Morning all!

I'm feeling a little better this morning, my nose seems to have found its stop tap and i've a sneaky feeling it was more hayfever than a cold! (seems funny i had a piriton yesterday) and all of a sudden i feel sooo much better!

I'm here this morning with my beloved magnolia's! Have you seen the new collection? I soooo need these!!! (have a sneaky feeling they'll be on order tommrrow!!! lol)....

Todays card has that spooky feeling... I know halloween isn't this time of the year, but i love making halloween cards it's something i do every year and they're really pretty when finished! lovvveee em!!!
I've used my new background from CC Designs on my card today i love this perfecto!!!
as well as my erm negelected magnolia!! hehe im so terrible!!!

I came up with a lightbulb moment whilst making this card, something was missing and i just so happend to have some black sparkly stickles to hand then cha-ching!!!! i thought i know i could draw some spider webs and it looks fab!! love em!!!!

I've used my promarkers and my beloved prisma's for my card today, seem to be neglecting alot of my crafty things as of late... not good really is it... hehe....

I've even created a 'BOO!' inside which i love, again neglecting my slicey baby machine so i thought as i'd brought the spook-tacular design card just after christmas for the bargain price of £6!!! come on i had to buy more than one hehe! so i thought this sentiment wouldn't fit on the front of the card so it was ideal for inside!!! I'm loving that i've got back into creating inside the cards again, they really add something extra to a handmade card i thinks anyway....

Pink Wedding Day!

Morning all!!

I've been dying to show my card today for ages! I made it back in Feb but it was for my friends wedding day!

So i've had to wait till now to show as i know she's received it and loves it!! hehe!

Today's Challenge at charisma is Weddings / Anniversarys so i thought this would be perfect for my DT card!

I've not stuck to a simple arrangement of colours today i've gone for a totally different kinda wedding style card, mainly because my friend emma is totally pink girl and even had pink on her wedding dress and the most gorjuss pink sparkly shoes hehe!

I adore these stamps from LOTV! and brought such a stash at the nec last weekend! hehe!! The papers i've used are from pebbles inc they were in a scrappy set i brought from tkmaxx just after christmas, if anyone knows where i can get some more let me know i love em!!!

lovin' from the oven & doggie news!

Afternoon all!

Bit late with my normal friday posts today, it's because i was glued to the Radio One's Chris Moyles & Dave vitty's show on BBC one that they've been doing for cominc relif 52 hour show!!! and what a whopper of a money raised total over 2 million pounds!

I tell ya the show had me in stiches!!! hehe and of course me being me had my movie friday early this morning too have you seen toy story 3?? hehe funny! love the slinky dog so cool!!!

My Card today is a very yummy scrummy pinky card! I love magnolia which you all know and have a thing about cupcakes!! hehe seems to be wherever i go and find a cupcake stamp i sooooo have to have it! so i put all my girly girl and cupcakes into this card for today! It's also for my mum for mothers day as she too loves all things cupcake!

I'd picked some fab bargains up at the hobbycrafts sale in feb including the lovely pearl brads which if i remember rightly they were american crafts 16 for 49p!!! I'm such a crafter who loves a good bargain and always hunts something out anywhere i go!

Anyways... before i go on to show my card for today i'm suppppper excited that my mum's getting a new doggie!!! our family dog was put to sleep in 1998 as she was very poorly it's been 13 years and 3 attempts to have another but something has always got in the way, well we went to our local kennels on wednesday and needless to say we both fell in love with a very sweet collie dog! who has no name awwwwww!!!

so im looking forward to sunday when we go pick him up!!! ill get a piccy asap to show ya!!

If it weren't for the fact i had two kitty kats he'd of been coming home with me! but i've promised my mum ill go up on a thrusday to walk him!! he's such a darling!!

Make A Wish!

Good Saturday Morning all!

Me posting on a saturday! now thats a rare thing!!!

Well it's because i was thrilled to have been asked to join the Challenge Up Your Life Challenge blog as there GDT for March and April!!!!

This fortnight's Challenge is FLIP FLOP Cards, or best known to you and me as swing cards!

I must fully admit I have NEVER! made one of these before and to be fair i quite found it a challenge! and i love the results so i think i maybe making some more of these!!!

I've dug out myy trusty distress inks, i go through fazes of using these! hehe but i wanted to try something a little different to Tilda's dress today and i'm thrilled it worked whatcha think?? I think i've really mastered colouring with these now i just love the effects they give!!!

Bunnys....

Hey all! I'm back with another post today!

I've been busy creating this morning and dug some of my neglected magnolia's out!

I absolutly adore this bunny tilda and i didn't use her much last year!

My card today has taken me about 5 hours, so simple yet the details have took forever! but i'm in my craft studio and chilling out! hehe!! taking a break now before my next card! I think this card is going to be a huge favourite of mine this year! Love it!! hehe

I used my magnolia bunny background which i brought half way through last year and never inked up ooopppsie! but i love how my card turned out that i'm sure this background stamp will be out again for easter! I masked bunny tilda in the middle and then carefully inked up part of the background again to finish the right of her landscape again!

Hey! Me again!!

Two posts in one morning!

Ok so i'm up seriously early i can't sleep, doesn't help that i fell asleep on the sofa at 5pm last night lol! oh well! more time in the craftyroom today for me!!! :-)

I'm here this morning with my new maggie project which don't tell me off! I've had this stamp for yonks!!! and never used it! im so naughty!! but anyways.......

When i first laid this card out as i normally do all the backing papers first then find an image to go with my papers i was heading in the way of a male themed card hence the blue and green, but as you can tell that soon changed!! haha!!!

I'm loving these metal things not quite sure for the name of them all stampin' up call them hodgepodge but not quite sure myself... do you know???

I've gone for more bellies again today!!! :-) and i'm really getting the hang of this i love that you can create something that has so many 3d elements to it! Who's it for? well... it was meant to be a birthday card for the hubby but that changed as well! haha! so this one will be going on my shop i thinks!

Happy Buzzday!

Ok i know grab a chair before you fall over!
I'm back again with another post today!!! eeeek!!!
Well i have quite a few projects to show! and this one i'm dying to show!



Now ya know me i have many passions in crafting but my main! has to be the lovely MAGNOLIA'S!!! i seriously can't get enough and i tell ya i was absolutly gutted to learn sir stampalot isn't at the NEC this march and looking at the company lists looks like NO Magnolia stockists will be there! CRY CRY CRY!!!
That's not on you know!!! hehe!

Anyway! My card this morning is me trying something a little different, i've never been one to decorate my cards with serious amounts of embellies and different colours that i'd never use! but after seeing Maddy's creations she really inspired me to try something new! and i thought i'd have ago! SCARYYYY!!! but I LOVE IT!!! So much i can't possibly sell this one can i??!? hehe i keep saying that but THANK YOU to my lovely bloggy friend MADDY!!! your a true inspiration i love your work and i so love how colours don't scare you!!!!!!

Not only have i tried a new colour combo Greys and yellows and oranges i've used those hindgey thingys, i dunno what there called they were in a tin of bits and bobs i got from we are mem keepers ages ago! they're so sweet! and look spay bead things (im useless with names lol) but hey ho! i love it!! and i've even recycled my old butterfly punch that i NEVER use! lol ANNNND before i forget i thought it was quite funny that i created a bumble bee tilda card and the papers i love are from pink paislee which are called queen bee!!! how funny! hehe

How does your bunny garden grow?..

Morning all!

Yep i'm up early today! my day off which means a day in the craftroom, I'm pleased to say that i think i've finally shifted this bug but i'm still very tired and bit coughy but fingers crossed it's bugged off hehe!

So sorry i've been a terrible blogger since before christmas i've just been so very tired from work and having lots of things to do on my days off i've not had much time to blog and hop about but hopefully i'll be back to normal service very shortly! hehe!

Todays card i wanted to keep simple and sweet like my last bunny card, i think i'm totally in love with this stamp you know!! hehe! and i sooo cant wait to get my hands on some of the new butterfly ones magnolia have released! though i'm saving my pennies for the big NEC show in march! where i finally may get to meet my good DT buddy Carol!! and my friend Shannon from Docrafts!! sooo can't wait!!!
