Blowing Birthday Wishes...

Morning all!

Well it's virtually the end of August! eeekkkk! that means christmas is about to start instore where i work oh god help me! i mean c'mon what's with all the bringing out the stock miles ahead of the flaming thing talk about over kill!!! My head is still over the place this week due to the stress from what happend to us last week with domino's i'm really not happy with what's happend and it's been a total nightmare since last tuesday!!! 

I've not been upto much this last week just zonking my head off as usual and plodding along with my project life (btw you can see video's of that in my youtube links uptop).....

I'm here this morning with this gorjuss girly from Mo Manning! to bring you a brand new challenge at My Mum's Craft Shop! This week the challenge is all about THREE'S, YEP! So i've got 3 lots of 3 flowers, 3 brads, 3 ribbons and 3 papers! Pretty tough challenge i think but at the same time quite easy and fun! 

My Card today was actually made back in July for my buddy Gemma's Birthday (she happens to share the same birthday as me hehe) (scary how much we have in common being born the exact same day and year!!!) tho she's older than me as she was born in the morning lol and me not till evening haha!!!

What I'm Lovin... August

Hey All!

I'm here to share a lil (well large) post with you all about the products in the craft world i'm currently lovin' this month! You can see last months post here!
I have so many e-mails asking me about what kinda products i like to buy and use i thought this kinda post would give you all an insight into what crafty things i'm currently using and lovin'!

So here i am for August's post a little late as i've had so much going on!!!

First up! Has to be my new found love of....


I've been after these for yonks, umming and arring over getting them last month for my birthday i decided against them, not sure why perhaps £90 is a big leap in one go... so i waited and waited and brought them from a friend and i tell ya the best thing i've brought in a while i love em! you'll be seeing my creations over the coming weeks with these!! i'm so glad i took the plunge and brought them! totally worth the RRP even tho i didnt pay that for them!!! 
 

CC Designs stamps!
I've had these stamps for ages and go through periods of not using specific brands for very long and then find myself going back to them like all crafters i think! This one is 'Swiss pixie Bunny Lucy' she's my favorite new stamp that i've brought this week!


Memory Box dies! Currently i'm the type of crafter that hords punches and dies and never uses them mainly because i forget i even have them (she says owning a cricut and a slice) and since these memory box dies came out i love how inexpensive some of them are! I've finally nabbed my hands on a few christmas trees that have been released and this snowflake one is my fav!!! 
For those who regually follow my blog and know me you'll know i'm obsessed with 6x6 paper! At this very moment in time i am lovin' the Dear Lizzy Neopolitain range that i've finally got my hands on, the jar paper and strawbs are fantastic and such pale colours i really love!!! 

Journal cards are all the range in my craft room at the moment, i'm heavily following my own version of project life for this year in A4 size (different i know) you can see the youtube vid's on my link at top of my blog, next year (ok im already planning) i'm going for 12x12 and i'm super excited about that! see below... these are the new MLS 12X12 Paper's released at july 2012 CHA and i love em!!! 

So yay!!! i finally got my 12x12 D - ring amy tangerine sketchbook album for my project life for next year i love the cameras on this, project life is something i never envisioned doing but 8 months through 2011 in an a4 binder i love it its great to look back on your whole year and see how much stuff you've really done!!!

Stamps!!! hehe!!! i managed to finally get one of these dear lizzy jar stamps i've been after for a while since they came out they were so popular they flew out faster than craft shops could order them. my inital thought when recieving it was ''its tiny!'' well not tiny but alot smaller than i imagined but i have to say now it's rather cute being small and i can't wait to play!


Whimsy Sentiment stamps & matching dies!
I'm a huge fan of these there fantastic! this is the latest set i've got my hands on and i love that you can get the matching die cuts! I also have these in tickets too there fab!! a real must!
Well on to digi's companys that don't need a write up there images are as cute as ever.... Digi stamp boutique (I adore sally-ann's work!)

I love Housemouse they've been one of my fav's for a long time so darn cute!!!


Pink Cat Studio have some truly wonderful stamps altho they are avalible as digi's i have alot of rubber too they're fab and stamp so well!

Naughty or nice??? Cupcakes....

Morning all!

Ohhh gosh i'm sure someone is fast forwarding the clocks these days seem to be getting shorter and shorter or maybe faster hehe! I'm here this morning to show my new card creation designed for Care2Stamp!

I've used one of my favourite C.C Designs stamps today Cupcake Birgitta she's such a joy to colour! and perfect for any birthday celebration! Today i've used promarkers to colour her and added tiny white dots to her cheeks to make them stand out, stickles for her wings and cakes....

The gorjuss papers are from my favourite brand Echo Park i really can't get enough of those, i've added some american crafts velvet ribbon for abit of texture and used dark brown chalk to edge papers and kraft matting card, I bundled together some little tea roses from wild orchid crafts and used more american crafts goodies in the way of photo corners and hinges with matching brads from the Dear Lizzy range. To finish i stamped 'naught or nice? into a whimsy ticket stamp using the same chalk ink to match and added a few pearls!

I'm here with another Lili of the valley card today for the new challenge at Charisma the lovely Vee has chosen Lovely lace as this week's challenge! So i've dug out my lace and got cracking on a card! hehe!



I love these stamps from LOTV There so cute and this one is no different! I've kept to the colour scheme of the image today hehe! and used lots of matching embellishments, It kinda reminds me of when i was younger this sweet image! hehe

Gosh these week's are flying by i can't believe we're already nearing the end of august! Christmas isn't that far away! eeekkk!

Noel...

Morning all!

Another friday here so fast! I'm back at work on sunday booo hooo! but only 4 weeks till i'm off again yipppiiiee!! lol

I'm here this morning with a brand new creation from me featuring a beautiful Winter Fairy from Wee Stamps available here from Care2Stamp

I stamped her with momento black ink and coloured her with promarkers added some diamond ice stickles to her wings and ear muffs as well as adding tiny dots around her to give her the snow kinda feel!

I've used these beautiful papers i've had stashed away since last christmas there from magnolia, along with a doily and the whimsy ticket sentiment tags with die, my ribbon is a mixture of american crafts and from my local market finished with matching pearls and a snowflake die cut from papermania!

Another week just flys by doesn't it! I can't believe it's half way through August already! Where are these days going?!?! I've got a few more days of my holiday left from work got to go back sunday nooooo i dont wanna hehe!!!

Today's Challenge at MMCS Is KRAFT IT! Yep i'm obsessed with Kraft C/stock so i thought i'd pick the theme for today's challenge and challenge you all to use Kraft somewhere on your creation!

I've used the beautiful Copica Digi from Saturated Canary today as always coloured with promarkers! And lots of beautiful flowers butterflys and pearls!

Just to say....

Morning all!

Gosh how these week's are flying this year! Well i'm here to show you another creation of mine this morning it's my post today for Care2Stamp!! 2nd post already!!! i'm really having fun in my craftroom this week making some fun projects! It's so nice to have some time off work to be able to do the things i like!!!

Today i've dug out my C.C Designs Stamps i must say it's been a while i have sooooo many i forget what i have and haven't got but i must say i've missed these beautys i love how cute they are! This one is called Birthday Gretel she's avalible here!

I've coloured her with promarkers and chalks to match the beautiful papers behind!

I'm really loving these colours the paper is by Echo Park it's called 'Everyday Eclectic' - i tell ya i soooo love the colours in this pad! it's going to be one of my favourites i can tell! I've dug out my ribbons and laces for this card and also used my favourite ek Success punch that i've neglected for ages! 

The cute ticket is from papermania's 'Happy Day' collection a new set of stamps released last month i got hold of at my local store, and i stamped with brown chalk to match the kraft cardstock!

I dug out my pearls and pearl brads and beautiful prima blossoms as well as the hinges which are by American Crafts to add lots of texture and feel to my card!

I think this card is one of my favourites i've made in a while the colours are so me and i even added the extra stickles to her wings to make them all glittery and to the candle!
