Wedded Bliss..

Morning all!

Thought i'd pop by with a little creation i've had made for a while but haven't had chance to get posted!
Boy does life seem to be getting in the way at the moment! but oh well... it goes on!!!



 I saw a similar project last march at the NEC at the Chole's Creative Cards stand, also where i brought this beautiful stamp from! i so hope they're there at this show in November as i'd like a few more! i love how this turned out PINK AND GIRLY!! Oh and sparkly too!!! hehe!

It's also the first time i've inked up my LOTV wedding sentiment in ageeeesss! i always forget about that i have these stamps lol! i really should use them more!

Morning all!

Gosh these week's are flying by i can't believe we're already nearing the end of august! Christmas isn't that far away! eeekkk!

I'm here this morning with a brand new challenge from My Mum's Craft Shop This week's challenge is....



Can you guess? yep weddings and anniversary's! I've lots of weddings and anniversary's coming up in my family so it was a perfect challenge for me to get started, today's card i wanted to keep quite simple tho!

Wedding Song... & some news...

Good morning all!

Rather a long post this morning so ya may wanna grab a cuppa and be comfy! lol i've lots of things to share!!!

Firstly i'm here with my DT creation for the wonderful Craft Garden Challenge blog!

This months Theme is

'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and something blue!'

 I really enjoyed making my project for this months challenge as it brought back my fond memories and stresses of wedding planning for my own wedding this time last year (my gosh how quick has it flown by!).....

 My something old, had to be my oldie die cut sizzix swirls one of my favourites i've had for yonks!

My something new, was the beautiful ribbons i was able to pick up from Poppicrafts end of line stocks on ebay!! Such a shame Michelle had to close shop i really loved poppicrafts!

My something Borrowed, was the magnolia stamps i dont own them (need them tho on list!!) i borrowed a while back from my friend

And finally my something blue... well that's obvious really.....

 I adore this paper from the lil boy lost collection from craftwork cards it's so sweet and soft vanilla colour hearts in flowers are so sweet and elegant....

I added the flowers from wild orchids again they matched my paper sooo well (hate having to sift through things to find matches) but i loooove these flowers!! hehe

Together Forever....

Morning all!

I'm here this morning with another newbie project that my friend actually challenged me to make a card using the main colour as yellow and no flowers!! I must admit i'm still a little unsure of the colour choice, as it wouldn't happen to be one of my favourites! And i hold my hands up i found it quite tough not to use flowers!!! eeekkk total mojo out of comfort zone!

I've dug out one of my newbie stamps that i brought at the NEC in march! It's from LOTV!!! I'm loving there stamps at the moment they're so sweet and can't wait to see what's next in there new release soon! I actually coloured this in with the intention of it being my hubbys birthday card well.... it's not now, but the girl has brown hair like me and the boy blonde like my hub! lol...

I adore these dew drops wish someone would stock them cheap! Glitterpot sell them in bottles for £4.99 but there isn't many in them, these particular ones i brought in test tubes last year at the NEC and the people i brought them from no-longer stock them but was well worth £1.99 for like 500 of them!! So if anyone knows where i can buy them please let me know!!!!

Have you seen the sneak of organza ribbon in there? seriously this is becoming a tend this last week or so! need to snap out of it, my other ribbons are seriously feeling neglected. I used Old paper distress ink to blend around my image and sentiment to make it more subtle against the yellow (believe me when i say those drops are yellow and not orange) bloomin light in my house is awful!!!!

So inlight of today's Royal Wedding events (why is so many people so excited?!?!) Don't call me a scrouge or anything but i just don't understand the hype???!?! maybe someone can tell me!!! hehe
I thought this card would turn from birthday to 'together forever!' love how ya start a card and never ends up like you wanted it too!!!

Pink Wedding Day!

Morning all!!

I've been dying to show my card today for ages! I made it back in Feb but it was for my friends wedding day!

So i've had to wait till now to show as i know she's received it and loves it!! hehe!

Today's Challenge at charisma is Weddings / Anniversarys so i thought this would be perfect for my DT card!

I've not stuck to a simple arrangement of colours today i've gone for a totally different kinda wedding style card, mainly because my friend emma is totally pink girl and even had pink on her wedding dress and the most gorjuss pink sparkly shoes hehe!

I adore these stamps from LOTV! and brought such a stash at the nec last weekend! hehe!! The papers i've used are from pebbles inc they were in a scrappy set i brought from tkmaxx just after christmas, if anyone knows where i can get some more let me know i love em!!!
