Wish Upon a Star

 Good morning all!

Ooo i'm so sorry i've not been around much this last week or so! Truth betold, i've been having a break pretty much from everything, including crafting! I've had a mega busy time at work needed some chill and me time!

I had a fantastic christmas (to be honest i slept most of it!!) hehe! Thank you to all my friends and family (and hubby as i know he reads my blog) for the wonderful christmas pressies! and to all my lovely blog friends who send me some truly beautiful cards! I always dread christmas as it's a time when i remember my nan who sadly passed away christmas day 2004, each year it gets easier not to forget her but to remember the time i had with her and the tears don't last as long anymore! it sorta hits me more christmas eve really, which i did have a lil cry with my hubby but it's nice to remember isn't it??

Happy new year to you all! Hope 2011 brings everyone joy and lots of crafty goodies too!

My card today i actually made new years day, it's strange as it's sorta a christmas card sorta not! I seem to have found my christmas mojo after the festive period..... Not too sure if that's a good thing or not! Hehe!!

For my Card today I dug out the Whitewash pad that i've had absolutly yonks and never used! and even managed to use a sizzix embossing plate (yep you guessed never used!) I'm such a bad crafter in that way or should i say horder!! hehe!

I love the outcome of my card today it's very me!! Very PINK!!! Yes before christmas i was turning into a yellow person but seems after too much wine it's knocked me back into place!! hehe!!

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenge:

I think i'll be using these embossing plates a little more as i really love the way it made the effect on the backing paper!
