Just popping into let you know i won't be posting till at least thursday this week I've managed to pick up some kind of bug from work including a nice razor sharp throat infection! urgggghhh i'll be back later in the week with some piccys of my shopping trip to hobbycraft yesterday! £160 worth of stuff for £30!!! and my hubby is taking me to another store this morning to see if it'll cheer me up! aaaawwww bless!

Gosh it's nearly the end of Jan already! Where did this month go?

Today's pay day so i'm finally going to get my hands on some of these lush magnolia's i keep seeing everywhere! I soooo need the new collection! You'd think being me i'd just join the club but i never seem to get around to it!

I'm here this morning with a brand new card! Which i'm zilcho happy about because it's not me and it doesn't look right! silly papermania papers i think... or could be the colour combo just not right..... or is it just me.....

It's for my DT position at Crafty Catz! The brand new challenge this week chosen by our lovely DT boss Suzie! is 'Flowers'. Now me being me i really could of gone to town with this theme and i admit its not one of my best... i made it earlier in the month when my mojo had seemed to have vanished and i was a little down!

It's all In the air!

Morning all!
Yes it's 23 mins past midnight and i'm still awake on my day off! why???
Well it's quite funny really at 2pm this afternoon i was so tired i said to hubby shall we go to bed for a couple of hours before tea??? YES Carly! so off we go alarm set for 5pm and as you'd expect alarm goes off at 5pm we wake up! Then we fall back asleep next thing i know i wake up it's midnight!!! Poor kittys had no tea!!! so fed them and here i am WIDDDDDEEEE awake!!!

So i thought i'd bring you the Charisma Challenge this week a little early!!!
Yep! That's Love that's in the air!

With Valentine's Day fast approching us!!! hehe!

This week's challenge at Charisma has been chosen by myself! Valentines/Love!

 I wanted to create something different for my DT project this week! And also use my new Magnolia Tilda stamp too which i brought just after christmas but compleatly forgot i had her (i do that alot!!) hehe!!

So i thought i'd have ago at these book kinda vintagey cards... i'm not sure of there proper name! but i love the results!

 The front of my card i wanted to keep quite simple! Not that anything i ever do really tends to be simple as i always over complicate myself! For the big heart i used (finally)!!! my cosmo cricket bare buttons they're huge and i've never really known what to use them for so i covered it with my fav magnolia paper and then covered it compleatly in glitter (bad idea when i have a cat who insists on standing on everything!) so it took my about 3 times to glitter it!!! hehe

 I really had fun making this and don't think it'll be my last as i love the results! You can put anything inside the card! it's got nothing in at the moment as i'm going to see if i can get some chocolate hearts in pink foil to go inside, yep you've guessed it!

My hubby is having a very pink valentines card! haha! oh well!!! hehe here's what it looks like inside...

Morning All!

Gosh it's very cold outside this morning here in shropshire!

I've my two days off again! yay! plenty of time for crafting this week as i've not much planned!

The big FOUR ZERO!

Morning all!

Gosh these weeks are really coming around so very fast!!!! It's so very cold this morning here in shropshire!

This morning i'm here with a new challenge from charisma!!!!!

MAGIC NUMBERS!!

 For some reason and don't ask me why i chose 40!!! i have no idea why!! lol it was just the charm i had to my reach at the time!! that i chose it!!

I've dug out my ole favourite magnolia stamp Tilda with wooden spoon i absolutly adore her find her so easy to colour and she's really versitile!!

I've finally dug into my Basic Grey Infuse pad too which i must admit when i first brought it i thought when i got home hmmmm not quite sure if i'll use it! but i really like the colours now! (guess our tastes must change!!) hehe

Monochrome Madness

Half way through January already time really does fly!
This fortnight at Creative Craft Challenges our theme is monochrome!

I must admit when i see this sort of challenge it really scares me as i can only ever seem to monochrome pink!!! lol maybe someone should set me the challenge of no pink for a year!! lol!!!

Beautiful Fairy....

Hey all!

Is it raining near you? it is here in shropshire! What a miserable sunday! I don't normally post sundays as i'm normally still z'dding in bed, but the hubbys off on holiday this week so when i got back from work i decieded to go straight to bed and i'm up not early i've had 8 hours and feel so much better! It's fab when he's off and i'm at work i can pinch all the quilt and bed and not get moaned at hehe!!

 Today I have the most gorjuss fairy card to show you! I absolutly adore the new stamps over at LOTV!

I must admit i'm not a fairy person but when i first saw this stamp at the sneak peek on Bev's blog  I knew i had to have her! My kind friend Linda put an order in and snuck this on the end for me!!! thank you hun!!!

I'm on a strict saving at the moment for the show in march at the NEC so i'm trying not to look at all the gorjuss stamps and sale things out there!! soooo hard!!!

 I've used a bit of everything i love at the moment for my card today!

*PINK obviously!, *Magnolia paper of course! *Pearls i can't get enough of these at the moment!, *Punches I'm so in love with martha stewart punches at the moment i sooo can't wait to get myself some new ones at the show! *LOTV well..... what can i say there stamps are so cute and so pretty every crafting girl should have at least one!!! or in my case 50!! lol

I love the effect i've created with the MS Trelis punch and made the butterflys 3d! ok ok i'll shut up i just really adore today's card.... perhaps mr mojo is finally coming back???

Morning all!

I managed the whole of yesterday afternoon to create one card! hehe!

Really love the LOTV stamps at the moment, can't wait for the NEC show in march saving up like mad now as there's lots of LOTV's and magnolia's me's wanting! and a few other bits and bobs!!

For my card today, i wanted to make use of my basic grey origins papers i love the colours of these browns yellows and greens arn't my first choice in colours as you may well know but they're so sweet and lush together!

If you look closely on my card you can sorta see where i used my tattered angels glimmer mists, something i don't tend to use much (mainly because of the costs) hehe, but i've figured a way to make my own, for those intrested i'll do a tutorial when i can! Save's lots of pennys!

Birthday Gifts...

Hey all!

Back with another post today!
I was up at 4.30am this morning couldn't sleep, well saying that i did stay up 27 hours before finally collapsing on the sofa last night and ended up in bed very early and as norm waking very early!

So... what bright spark idea did i have this morning?????

Let's plat changing rooms at 5am!! yep i decided to clean and move my craft studio around! my gosh there were a few F's being said this morning espech as i though i was clever to move my bookcase with everything still in it and CCCCRRRACK it fell apart!!! oooppssie! and yep my lovely hubby put it back together this morning trying to hammer quitely at 6am! not quite sure that's legal but hey!!! haha!!



My Mojo ran off and seriously left me for a holiday i thinks this last few weeks i've hardly had any go in me to create, after hours of looking for ideas and blog hopping nothing came to me, so when i finally finished sorting my room today i thought id give my brain alittle creativity and here's the result!!!

Gosh half way through January already! How time flys!!

New Year's Project!!!

Morning all!

I'm up seriously early this morning!
Tis payday! so it's bills and food shopping today! lol lots to do and a kip before work!

My Idea this week is hopefully later on in the spring i'm having my craft studio revamped and built in properly!! (AND as long as it's ok with my landlord i can have my room PINK!!!) Yay!!!!

so i wanted to create something to go in my Craft studio!!!

and came up with a New Project for my New Year creation!!!

I'd like to also enter my creation to the Sugar Sweet Paper Treats Januaray Challenge!

 I've used everything i love at the moment!!!! and of course it had to be pink!!! hehe!!! not quite sure where the yellow came from but hey!! lol!

I chopped out the middle sections got rid of all the grey and walla!!!!

 Yep maggie's had to go on!! It's so very hard to come across things with my name on so it's that little bit more special!!! and so me!!!

Wish Upon a Star

 Good morning all!

Ooo i'm so sorry i've not been around much this last week or so! Truth betold, i've been having a break pretty much from everything, including crafting! I've had a mega busy time at work needed some chill and me time!

I had a fantastic christmas (to be honest i slept most of it!!) hehe! Thank you to all my friends and family (and hubby as i know he reads my blog) for the wonderful christmas pressies! and to all my lovely blog friends who send me some truly beautiful cards! I always dread christmas as it's a time when i remember my nan who sadly passed away christmas day 2004, each year it gets easier not to forget her but to remember the time i had with her and the tears don't last as long anymore! it sorta hits me more christmas eve really, which i did have a lil cry with my hubby but it's nice to remember isn't it??

Happy new year to you all! Hope 2011 brings everyone joy and lots of crafty goodies too!

My card today i actually made new years day, it's strange as it's sorta a christmas card sorta not! I seem to have found my christmas mojo after the festive period..... Not too sure if that's a good thing or not! Hehe!!

For my Card today I dug out the Whitewash pad that i've had absolutly yonks and never used! and even managed to use a sizzix embossing plate (yep you guessed never used!) I'm such a bad crafter in that way or should i say horder!! hehe!

I love the outcome of my card today it's very me!! Very PINK!!! Yes before christmas i was turning into a yellow person but seems after too much wine it's knocked me back into place!! hehe!!

2011 New Years Crafty Resolutions!

Hey all!

I've decided to make my resolutions exactly the day before i start them for 2011!!
I find myself setting them every year and erm so far i've stuck to erm..... NONE! So this year 2011 i will!!
So we can forget the NO chocolate rule because that's not gonna last at all! so no point in setting that one!

Firstly for the crafty Resolutions....

1) Do not buy as much stash - like paper! I have a rainforest full already **Magnolia paper excluded from this resolution!** hehe
2) QUIT impulse buying!! Espechially when i go to the NEC show in march!! I've not even used half what i brought last march!
3) Need to seriously promote my website more this year! *this goes along with having more time!*
4) Learn a new technique! (Pergemarmo? can't spell can i! i dunno something new!
5) Only buy stamps im actually going to use! **Im sure we're all the same!! hundreds ooo i like that then off in the box it goes till we forget about it hehe**
6) And lastly.. stick in at my three DT roles!

My Other Resolutions!

1) Loose at least 3 stone in weight! ** This is my biggest goal of 2011!
2) Start walking more n not opting for the hubby's taxi
3)Wii Fit!
4)No more crisps and cut down on zee bread!
5) Can you tell yet my main goal of the new year is too get fit????
