Celebrate you!

Morning all!

There's a brand new challenge over at That Craft Place this fortnight! And our theme this time around is....

Make a box or Decorate one!

Now.... this scared the hell out of me! i'm not one for altering things espechially boxes they always go pear shaped! i've tried and tried and failed miserably! so... in good ole Carlyann fashion i kinda cheated but kinda didn't i still technically made my box! and i decorated it!!! haha!!

I opt'd for the easy option of making a card box and a card! haha! But i challenged myself to use The Octopode stamps the way i would use them! not the grunge weird way that is still lovely but not my style, if you get me! sooooo.... here's what i came up with....

I first created an easel card....

Which i totally love how it came out! and when folded looks like this...

Loving the colour scheme i may add!

And then... i created my matching box...

Pretty funky i think! so can't give this away! think it's going in my cabinet of to keeps! hehe! I'm loving these Octopode stamps i never thought in a million years they'd be my thing i guess that just goes to show you may think somethings not for you unless you try it!!!

Here's my final two together.... and don't forget That Craft Place now stocks Octopode Factory Stamps too!!

My Mum's Craft Shop!

There's some fantastic companies out there who design and draw some wonderful artwork for us crafters! This week i chose to use the wonderful Krista Smith from Saturated Canary as many of you know if your a regular to my blog that i love Krista's work! and today's is no different how cute is that bunny on her head?????

I've gone for another pink and brown combo today i even dug out my distress inks eeek! lol 

It's been ages since i actually got it on with the prima flowers i don't know why i don't tend to use this style flower anymore if you look back on my blog to when i first started i used to love them... maybe its because there the other side of my room i dont know... how strange!

Beautiful Blooms & Butterflys!

Good morning all!

I'm here with a brand new project i've been absolutly dying to show ya all!!

I made it back at the start of august espechially for the new challenge this month at The Craft Garden!

Yup! would you believe i've made a card with absolutly NO Stamping involved! now that is a rare thing for me! Kerry The lovely owner from The craft garden sent all her DT's a mixture of beautiful blooms and bits for our cards/projects this month!

I was like oooooohhhhh and awwww when it came! i absolutly adore the prima butterfly to which i am going to have to buy some more!! haha!!

Don't ya agree it's so pretty in real like! all the crochet flowers are also handmade by kerry herself and has lots of different bloom sets for sale a real must to go have a look at her shop! i know for one i've really enjoyed making my DT card for this month!

Bunny Bath....

Morning all!

Gosh Tuesday already! I'm already looking forward to my two days off!

Scheduled postie i'm afraid as i'm currently snoring my head off in bed as the hubby would say!

I couldn't not show you this adorable card this morning tho! These bunnys from LOTV are soooo cute it's untrue! I brought them at the NEC (along with the rest of the stand!) haha 4 trips back to the same stand!! hehe, anyways... as soon as i saw this bunny bath stamp i had to have it!!

 I've even used my new nesties labels 10! which i've wanted for yonks and only one stall had them at the show which either meant they were popular and sold out or meant no one had brought them with them! but i was thrilled i found them! My papers on my card today are also new from my minds eye tickled pink range looove these and sooo going to have to buy more (sssh don't tell hubby) honestly i have a rainforest upstairs already!!
