Heart...

Heya all!

I've been quite this last few days on my blog i'm totally suffering from this nasty chesty dry cough going around and im full of cold urgh! certainly tell it's winter!

So i thought i'd pop by this morning and show off a lil something different from me this morning! I'm not one for just using stamps that scares me! by that i mean no colouring!!! but i am totally in love with these stamps from indigo blu! I've had them a while y'all know how it goes.... we hord then we use eventually!! haha!!!

Morning all!

Using the lovely Stamps by the Octopode Factory, now these are not my normal choice of stamp if your a follower or reader of my blog y'all know me i'm all about cute! lol but to be honest i really am in love with this brand so much so i've brought a ton and can't wait for them to arrive in rubbah!! haha!!!

I Scored!!!!

Morning!

No the title of my post isn't that i scored! well it is... but not the way your all thinking haha!!!

infact yep i couldn't get my hands on a particular popular embossing folder at the time of making this card so i sat a scored it myself! toooooook ages!! lol!!! and i can say now writing this post i do infact have the embossing folder haha!! Still it's all fun and games in craftyness!

TONS OF LAYERS!

EEEEEkkkk! i always struggle on these sorts of challenges but i love the way my card turned out with 5 layers! the papers are magnolia of course i love these so delicate and soft colorus, the punch is a martha stewart, ribbon from stash, pearls from meiflower, and the sentiment from kaisercraft!

The sentiment is from Kaisercraft Friendship sentiment stamp set which i adore! the butterflys are from the classic martha stewart 2 in 1 punch which i looooove!! and as always gems from meiflower! simple yet i love it!

If Friends were flowers...

It's a brand new challenge over at Charisma this week! and Team gem have a super challenge of NO DIGI'S allowed! So i thought i would join in with the team this week and create something without a digi! (I know it's a rare thing for me right now, im loving my digital images!

But i do miss my rubbbah! Though this week's card is actually from lili of the valleys pre-coloured cute squares so i thought it perfect for this week's challenge!

Flower Power!

Morning all!

I'm currently at work doing a Day Shift! I know right... get me!!! normality! only for today though i'm doing  a course at work!!! grits teeth and hopes i don't fall asleep espech as i've been up since 3.30am!!!

I thought i'd shcedule a post to show what i've been upto lately other than project life (which i'm obsessed with haha!)

**Update - i'm back from work! course was yesterday and someone forgot to tell us!!! oh dear!! oh well day off for me!!! craftyness ahead!

I'm not normally one for simple and stuff like that so of course when i do CAS i tend to over kill it haha! but i love how my card came out in the end!

I love the negative effects i've been seeing everywhere recently and decided to give it a whirl!

I basically chopped out three circles different sizes with my nesties stamped the gorjuss Stampin' Up! flowers on kraft card with brown chalks and versamark and wanged them behind made my front with a sizzix embossing plate punched out some flowers and added lots of bling in the shape of gems pearls and the oh so forgotten dew drops! to create.....

Love how it came out!!! hehe!!!

Punching Crazy!

Morning all!

It's snowing!!! yay!! we had a little snow here in Shropshire last week but that vanished pretty much over night! no where near as much as some places around the UK, it's been around 0 - minus 2 here and a few of my friends on facebook and things have been showing there iphone weather at -10 and -13 stuff that!! that's seriously too cold for me!

Well... i'll shut up about the snow now (tho i am secretly hoping for at least a foot too much so i dont have to go to work) haha!!! anyway this week it's team Carlys challenge at charisma and this week's challenge is....

PUNCH IT!

Use at least two punches! Punches are something i forget i even own even though i have tons i think alot of us crafters forget we even own half of our craftrooms at some point! haha

So today i've gone for clean and simple i'd actually seen something similar on pintrest a few weeks back and thought i'd give it a whirl! I've even dug out my embossing folders!! something else i forget i have haha!!!

Totally not my normal style eh?!?! but i love it so quick and simple my two punches obviously the butterfly which is martha stewart my favourite! EVER! and i've finally brought a new corner punch as my SU one has never worked properly since i brought it so that's gone in the bin finally! I don't rate there punches after that!

The papers i've used are actually scraps (it's a fab way to use them all up!) They're all a mix of my minds eye papers don't ask me which set i can't remember! hehe, the friends sentiment is by kaisercraft which i brought last year at the NEC they're lovely sentiments!

The embossing folder is a papermania one i've had for ages but i love the pattern!

I'll stop rabbiting on now haha! we have some lovely sponsors this week as always so why not pop over and join us!

It's a brand new challenge over at my mums craft shop this week the theme is...

I naturally struggle with simple cards so i set myself a challenge of CAS today! and i'm really suprised how it came out!

I've used the lovely sentiment from Penny black with tiny tiny pearls and fimo slices!

I'm in love with dandilion clocks something i'll be on the hunt for at the nec!
