Strudel Cat! Layout!

Hey all!

I know right me posting on a sunday dinner?! what's going on! well... it's formula one weekend which means no sleep for me again!! i'm here this afternoon to share a layout that i made yesterday!

I love working with sketches for layouts and this project was no different, only it has not one but FOUR photos!! eeekkk! I totally panicked when i saw it as i'm not one for using lots of photos but i really love how it turned out! And of course it's all about my lil boy! strudie!!

I've used the gorjuss Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm Papers and the same collection die cuts, along with my super cute star punch which i can't get enough of to create my layout following Sarah's Cards August Challenge!

You Make Me Happy When Skies Are Grey...

Morning all!

I've been so super busy with creating and starting new projects this last few weeks i've super neglected my blog so i thought i'd pop by with a layout that i'm pretty chuffed with that i've created over the last couple of days!
I've followed the super sketch from Sarah's Cards this month! and i must say i really do like this sketch and will be using it again! The only thing i really changed was the 4 parts coming down from the top right, i used hearts to form a shower but i love how it turned out!

The photo is actually one that was took on wednesday (my birthday) i've lost 34lb in six week's on my diet still a long way to go but i'm feeling great i figued me and hubs don't have many pics of us so it was about time to stop being so camera shy and snap some and this one was my favourite!

''Love'' Layout

Heya!

Oooh get me two posts in one day! Well... i wanted to show off another layout that i've just finished! and my gosh it's taken my ages with all the fiddly circles espech the little ones!

Tonight's layout was inspired by LOVE!! Good ole fashion love! i've used one of my favorite photos from my wedding for today's layout! I've gone circle crazy too with the giant heart which i abbbbbsolutly loved making and i think i'm so going to have to do this technique again as i love how it turned out! 

I tell you now it took me ages to get them to stick in the right places and then 3d ones too but totally worth it and a fab way to use all my scraps up!! and of course pink too!

I've also used my distress inks to emphasis the heart a little more inside too! along with some hand made tags and a gorjuss cabochon brad from american crafts! 

So here's my layout!

(I still haven't mastered taking photos of 12x12 if anyone has any tips throw em my way!!)

Fan'Tache'Tic!

Hey all!

So i've been scrapbooking the last couple of days i've so many photos spare from project life and things i need to do something with them all! I'm here with another layout today with the fabby 'Mustache' paper from Fancy Pants! I've followed this sketch from Sarah's Cards...

It's actually the first time i've ever followed a sketch for a layout!! ooo!! But i was really inspired by this one!
I've gone a little mustache mad recently and got a tad excited when i saw a door stop in Primark a few weeks ago so naturally hubby snapped it and it's perfect for today's layout! I'm entering it into this months challenge over at Sarahs Cards :) 

I brought an embossing folder a few months back whit unfortunally i cant emboss a full 12x12 sheet just no way my bigshot will let me do that so i hand embossed them using the small embossing folder to add them to my black backing card...

So here's my layout!

♥ Loved - Layout ♥ & Project Life Update!

Hey all!

Thought i'd pop by this afternoon and show off a pretty cool layout i'm quite proud of that i created yesterday! (god knows how as i was running on a couple of hours zzzz in nearly 3 days)!

Before i get on to that! I have to share my PL news! The new kits are ammmmazzzing! I was constantly putting things in my basket and taking them out because they got released 2 days before my pay day!!! Unfortunately i couldn't get the Honey edition as that had sold out and the seasons... but i went for cinnamon which is so nice!!! and blush OMG! That's just love all over again! and the mini kit of holiday! not sure what to use the happy Hanukkah cards for but hey! 

Then... i find that there's more than one stockist in the UK so... naturally i had to nab the seasons mini kit i really like this and can't wait to use it although i'm thinking of saving it to use next year! 

Anyhooo...
I was totally inspired by my new crafty buddy Melanie to create a layout she gave me some fab advice about choosing my photo first! which has helped me soooo much!! thank you hun!! Get this... we both live in telford, both went to the same college, infact the same course! caught the same bus to college, lived round the corner from each other when we lived at home, and yet we didn't even know each other??!?! freeeeaky!! oh and we have the same coffee machine!!! well! we have good taste eh!?! lol it's so nice to know someone who lives close by we can't wait to have some fun crafting and creating together (not to mention shopping) erm... that's already cost me an arm and a leg!
