Morning All!

Back with my second post of the day!
and it's a rather special one too!!!

I got my hands on the brand new Magnolia collection at Sunrise Crafts!!



If you've not heard of Sunrise Crafts before... my gosh where have you been??? They're located in Wombourne in Wolvohampton here in the west mids!! They have a fantastic range of craft products from everything from my favourite Magnolia Stamps (including mini world!!!) to ek sucess punches to spellbinders to papers you name it they've got it!! AND!! They have a fantastic website that had not long had a fab make over! the best bit is.... if you can't get to there shop, it's FREE P&P for all orders over £10!!! Anyways... back to my card...

As many of you know i'm a huge fan of magnolia anyway! so i was thrilled to get my hands on these little cuties!!! I've used the new Hula Hoop (rocking) Tilda and Rainbow with clouds stamps! So fun to colour!

I've coloured them with a mix of promarkers and prismacolour! and of course used some diamond stickles within my clouds!

The Sentiment is an oldie stamp i've had for yonks that i thought would perfectly fit with my card!
I really wanted this card to pop out and burst with colour as i've used my new echo park papers which again tooootallly in love with!!!!

A Piece of my heart....

Morning all!

Oooo what a nice few weeks break i've had from my DT work at Charisma!
I'm so sorry i've not posted on my blog since last friday, been full of cold and sticky icky nose bugs that i've not pretty much created anything!

Though i've new cards to show after yesterdays creativness!!! which i'll be back later to share!

I've Really got my creative juices flowing and my mojo back on track!

Today's challenge has been set by the lovely Vee over at Charisma!, whom i might add has been with us right from the start!!!

Vee's challenge this week was the theme 'BOY OH BOY' I know i can hear the groans now, i find it shocking of us crafters who actually hate making mens cards?!?! maybe it's because they're not just pink enough haha!! but this challenge for us couldn't really have come at a better time for me as it was my hubbys birthday a couple of weeks ago!!

So out came my flowers (ok he has no choice in this matter!!) and out came my jelly bean soup papers which i may add are fast becoming popular with me, I chose for a change to use one of my new stamps which i brought in march at the NEC, i thought this hedgie is soooo sweet!!! and perfect for his birthday card!

I really enjoyed this colour combo to, it's not one i normally would use as it's rather bright and orange and yellow scare me!! haha, but i think it's really came out well, and he absolutly loved it!!! yay!!!

Feeling Spooky!!!....

Morning all!

I'm feeling a little better this morning, my nose seems to have found its stop tap and i've a sneaky feeling it was more hayfever than a cold! (seems funny i had a piriton yesterday) and all of a sudden i feel sooo much better!

I'm here this morning with my beloved magnolia's! Have you seen the new collection? I soooo need these!!! (have a sneaky feeling they'll be on order tommrrow!!! lol)....

Todays card has that spooky feeling... I know halloween isn't this time of the year, but i love making halloween cards it's something i do every year and they're really pretty when finished! lovvveee em!!!
I've used my new background from CC Designs on my card today i love this perfecto!!!
as well as my erm negelected magnolia!! hehe im so terrible!!!

I came up with a lightbulb moment whilst making this card, something was missing and i just so happend to have some black sparkly stickles to hand then cha-ching!!!! i thought i know i could draw some spider webs and it looks fab!! love em!!!!

I've used my promarkers and my beloved prisma's for my card today, seem to be neglecting alot of my crafty things as of late... not good really is it... hehe....

I've even created a 'BOO!' inside which i love, again neglecting my slicey baby machine so i thought as i'd brought the spook-tacular design card just after christmas for the bargain price of £6!!! come on i had to buy more than one hehe! so i thought this sentiment wouldn't fit on the front of the card so it was ideal for inside!!! I'm loving that i've got back into creating inside the cards again, they really add something extra to a handmade card i thinks anyway....

Celebrate in style & WOYWDW

Morning all!

I'm still all snottyed up this morning, good news on the throat tho it's calmed down and no longer hurting, tho i'm starting to look like rudolph in spring! lol

I'm here this morning with my WOYWDW post and also my latest creation!!!

As many of you know i have erm.... 3 desks.... so what's going on today....

 That's actually pretty tidy for desk one, bits and bobs everywhere! spy the stack on the right hand side... that was a freebie from the latest simply cards and papercrafts, some beautiful papers in it! had to have!! going down all my tools and glues baby wipes (i can't believe how many packs i get through!). Above that is a orange box full of ready cut sizzix swirls i've been using to create something else which i'll be showing in a few days... above more card prestamped images, and my box of prisma pencils... followed by box of 3d pads and my beloved sizzix biggie shot!

Desk 2.....

My second desk doesn't really get used as a desk anymore.... it's erm... pretty full!! lol, my PINK lappy!!! hehe!!! well..... its had to be pink!!!! you may spy a pile of cards below my ipod dock to be shown later in week, lists of allsorts under my mouse... my beloved purple cows guilly! (i don't know what i did before this it's really fab!!) above that is all the cards i've to list on my site, and rolls of ribbon my friend brought me back from the USA.

And finally my mini desk 3!

It's really my elecy tool cutters desk... well... my cricut which i seriously erm neglect!!! my slicey baby!!! random lamp! (never gets used!) printer paper.... blue drawers full of brads and eyelets....
oooo do you see... my NEW PUNCH!!! My lovely friend emma went to the states a few weeks back for her honeymoon and brought me back some lushy crafty things including cupcake punch!!!!! woooo hoooo!!! can't wait to play!!!

So that's what's going on in my craft room today, though i seriously need to spruce it up and put things away as my friend's coming to play this afternoon!!! :-) creativity time!!!!


I've been playing with tilda's again!! (lost my magnolia mojo) recently so i'm pleased it's back! wanted to create a very virbant card!!!!

 I adore basic grey papers at the moment, find them so easy to work with and there colours are gorjuss and some really sweet designs!
I've used my bazill basics border strips which i've had for yonks and never used! opppsie! some dew drops and a sweet rick rackky ribbon with a tag to finish!

It'd be a miracle...

Hey all!

Today's post is rather fitting or should i say part of the sentiment is lol! It would be a ''miracle'' for me to get through the whole of spring without a cold!!! oh no!!! I woke up yesterday with a terrible sore throat and a very runny nose all bunged up :-( feeling rather sorry for myself right now lol!



I'm here this evening to share a card i made the other night whilst hubbys obbsessed with the PS3 again now it's back online! (peace and quite!!!!!) I've had these lili of the valley stamps and things for ages and my friend challenged me to make a rather purple card (oooohhh siiiigggh!!!) i'm not a purple person, i have no idea why growing up my bedroom was once lilac (maybe that was my mum's choice in colour scheme) dunno!!
ok ok i'll shut up back to my card!

I totally forgot i'd brought these sentiments back in march at the NEC! they're really sweet sayings, again from the lili of the valley (whom are fast becoming a favourite of mine) but sssshhh don't tell my maggies that!!! hehe

I've even gone for a simple finish for the inside of my card today! I don't get chance to decorate it very often but think it gives a more handmade and elegant touch to them if ya do!! (what am i talking about i've gone mad) excuse me need to blow nose... aaaaaaaccchoooooo! lol

I'm here this morning as a lil mid-way month reminder about the

Challenge at By The Cute & Girly!!

I'm guest designing for them this month, as you may remember from the 1st of May's post my first card for them was a maggie!! of course!! so i thought my second would be a lil different! HOUSE MOUSE!!! OOOOOhhhh how sweet are these guys i absolulty adore housemouse! now then your all going to shout at me once you hear this next bit :-(

I thought for my card today (don't shout) I would use the NEGELECTED housemouse decoupage i brought BACK in march 2010! at the NEC ooppppsies!!! (ok ok i forgot i had it!!) lol no i didn't really i found it soooo fiddly to cut out so i was saving for a rainy day.... ok that's not going to work is it?! ok i forgot!! lol sorry!!! hehe

I must admit i'm not really one for decoupage it's soooo fiddly and i havent the patience to be honest, but i couldn't resisit! at least i've used One sheet in ONE Year!!! lol 19 to go!! haha!!

Time for cake....

Evening all!

I've been so very busy this week yet again, i was (promise) going to post on thursday but silly MR Blogger has been a bad cat and hasn't been working :-( grrrr!!! so i'm here today to show off my new project i've been working on this week! something a little different for me!!! no maggie!!! haha (that's the next post lol)


I adore Kraftin Kimmie stamps at the moment, i've only a small collection of 5 but hey!! hehe and this is i think the second time i've inked this cutie up! When i first saw her had to have!! cupcake!!!! lol

I've used a varitey of colours to compliment the papers which i'm so going to have to buy more of i love these my minds eye's!!!! it's rare i create a project of any sort with buttons too! but i had this fab idea and i love the result!! hehe

Growing....

Heya all!

So sorry i've been a bad blogger this last week, seems to be that working is taking over my life again at the moment and sleep is few and far hours, so i thought i'd better pop in and show off a new project from me! lol

I've been so busy snoozing my head off i've had no time to craft or play with new stash (that's bad isn't it!) so i'm looking forward to my days off this week!!! Lots of mojo to be used up this week!! hehe



Today's project is all about me trying out something new as i'm always up for a challenge and looking out for new techniques and so on blah blah blah! haha!
I thought i'd literally dig my new LOTV stamp (that i've had since erm march) out and ink the lil thing up!!! i adore this stamp with these cutesy lil people on! so very cute!

I thought i'd go with the theme of growing up today! hehe, mainly because of the lovely image and also i happend to find the perfect sentiment, kinda reminds me of me being little and growing things in the garden with my mum! lol

I have shed loads of rub-on's in my stash that i never seem to get around to using! so i thought i'd dig out some very sweet flowers and dots from maya road and use them on todays card! I've not actually stamped my sentiment today either which is shocking for me!! haha it's part of the gorjuss Prima 'So cute' 6x6 pad! which i must admit i've been struggling for inspiration for! so it was a bit of a hit and miss card!

Treasure Map...

Morning all!

Gosh its the 7th may already... where are these months going???? 2011 seems to be going too fast for my liking!
I'm here this morning, (well scheduley post is here) as i'm snoozing head off in bed! I was thrilled last week when the lovely Manuela from Challenge up your life challenge blog asked me to stay on as there GDT for another 2 months!!!! how fab!! of course i said yes!!! how could i not!!?

I absolutly love there challenges they're really good ones that i find a challenge (if you get me!) lol...



So this fortnights challenge is: Travelling/journeys!
So i thought i'd really take a different angel on this one and go for using my pirate tilda with the ever so lush once upon a time stack from DCVW! odd combination i know but works really well!

I must admit this was a trial and error kinda card, i've never really made one like this before and found it challenging!!! but i enjoyed it!!!

There are so many elements to my card today as i really wanted a treasurey vintagey oldy worldy look to it, if that makes sense..... I've distressed plain vanilla grograin ribbon with shabby shutters, vintage photo and broken china and muffled the colours with water!

I've had this goldy raffia for absolutly yonks and tend to forget i have it, so i thought i'd use a bit to create like a sea net.... hehe lol ok i'm rambling! corigated card (i can't spell you should know this by now!!) haha was from a k&co kit i brought from QVC a few weeks ago and had these litle sentiments in with them so thought they'd be quirky to use!

Before I start my post today i want to say.....

to my hubby!!!!! big 27 today!!!!!

Rightyo! where was I... in the celebrations of today being my hubbys birthday i thought it nice to create more birthday cards!!!! yay!!! with lots of cake!!! and pink!!! and sparkle!!! totally me!!!

No it's not my hubbys card lol!!! but it'd be ideal for me!! haha!!

I've dug out my cupcake cake papers and all things pearly and sparkly for todays card! including my new tilda with lolly stamp which i brought of my bloggy friend sandie!! (thanks hun i love her!!!) hehe! and of course my very neglected magnolia cupcake stamp! (i know i'm terrible!!!)

I've used lots of different textures for my card today, with embossed papers, glitter and punches! and pearlys! though have you seen my cupcake brad???????? these are my fav's i wish i'd brought more before the range closed by me!!! oh well... another excuse to go to shrewsbury for the day (and pop in QVC at the same time as you do!!!) haha!!!

My card is really girly! (again me!) lol and lots of hearts, cake, and of course i had to get the sparkle out! I'm loving these roses from wild orchid crafts, i can see a new obsession starting there pretty soon!! haha!!!
