How's everyone today! by gosh the end of january already! where are these weeks going?!?!

Morning all!

Quite a quick post from me this morning just to tell you about the brand new challenge over at
My mum's craft shop!

This week's theme is.....

FLOWERS!!

Come on you have no excuses!!! hehe as always such a fab prize up for grabs!

Why am i in a rush? i need sleep! hehe day off tommrrow want to get my zzzzz's in before i have a busy day ahead! lol

My cards not overly fussy today, it's missing a sentiment because i'm waiting for my new stamps to come so i can add it! but i've used the gorjuss sweet pea moon fairy stamp today! i love colouring these stamps they're so fun and vibrant!

It feels like yonks since i dug my prima flowers out i actually keep forgetting i own half of my craft room that's either tiredness or the fact i've too much???????????!

I'll be back later to add it to any challenges it may fit but for now here's the final results!

It's the little things...

Heya all

Sorry i've been a bad blogger this week been so tired from work i had to go to bed this morning for a few hours my legs feel like jelly hehe! I thought i'd pop in this afternoon with a newbie tilda creation of mine! I've been playing with the gorjuss new stamps and i adore this one Tilda with pigtails holding a gorjuss flower!!!

I've coloured her with promarkers and flexmarkers as the norm (think i've neglected my prisma's again! need to dig them out and fall in ♥ again!)

I've used a pretty basic sketch that i had in my sketch book that i draw when i'm bored or watching the tele in the evenings before work! I wanted to use the lovely new papers also from magnolia i absolutly love this card its so me! PINK!!! And look shock but no flowers! i dont know if that's a good thing or bad!

A new favourite...

Morning all!

Oooo how i'm looking forward to my two days off tommrrow i'm so tired at the moment don't think i've caught up since the christmas rush at work so very sleepy hehe!

I'm here to tell you about the brand new challenge at My mum's craft shop!!!

This week's challenge is to use your favourite colour combo!!

I normally go for pink and black but i've a BRAND new Favourite at the moment... i seem to be creating alot of GREEN, PINK and white cards!!! and i must say i'm really digggin these kaiserkraft papers right now!! haha!

Ooooo look who's back!!! Tilda!!! i've been neglecting my lovely tilda's even parted with a few oldies before xmas i know totally against my rules but with such a huge collection i can't keep up with them all doesn't stop me from buying more like! lol Today i'd dug out my fav watering can and the gorjuss tilda with daff! infact i've had her a few months and she's not seen ink opppsie!

I've gone for a vintagey feel with my card a little shabbie chic i think hehe! pale colours yet not if that makes sense! the gorjuss ribbon is from my local habi shop i have to have more of this next time i'm in there! I've coloured her with flexmarkers and promarkers and added a many happy returns little tag as a sentiment along with some gorjuss roses from wild orchid crafts!

SMASH* Adventures Part 8..... The Adventure continues

Heya all!

I thought i'd post a few piccys of my updated blue smash* folio, it's virtually finished so i'll be adding my final touches and doing a youtube Smash* video very shortly to show my Blue book compleate! I have started my orange folio and also have smash*ed a yellow folio page too, so much for sticking to one book at a time hey!!??? well.... it's addictive!!!!

The page to the right well... i loved the horsey picture and wanted to keep this page about things that made me smile (mostly things about my hubby) he even posed for a piccy look!!! bless!

Left - Page is about my family, what little i have left that is :( things i wanted to remember i love the smash* page from the mini note pads where i could fill in the blanks!
Right - About my week what i usually do! Motel is a very american word but i didnt want to cover it because the word reminds me of my old job working in a hotel!

This page is a typical week for me! i kept it over a whole week! and even found out what happend years ago on the day i wrote about! including a song of the day something that sticks in my mind, i find i'm always humming in my brain a new song each day! I kept a record of the weather and the Highs and lows of temp too!!! hehe!

Left - That was me then... seemed fitting to make that page about when i was younger (around 16!) naughty girl back then! lol
Right - Books! something i wish i had more time to read! i love reading and i used to read so much back in the day something that i've let slip over the years but want to get back into! maybe this will kick start it again!!!

I've so many more pages to share of my blue folio but i'm going to finish the last few pages and video the book! so fingers crossed my next Smash* adventures will be a new colour folio!!!

I always create lots of girly birthday cards so today's card i thought would be nice as a thinking of you kinda card so i used one of the giant circle sentiments from craftwork cards (something else i neglect) haha

SMASH* Adventures Part 7 - All About The Craze

Evening all!

I thought i'd pop by and share a little more of my SMASH* adventures with you! I must admit i'm not far done with my Retro Blue folio now i've even started (well i say started) not so nearly finished with the orange folio either now lol i've gone and delved right into my books! I've had so many lovely e-mails from my followers and friends asking me lots of questions about my books and things about them so i thought i'd do a little Q&A post!

Where do you buy your SMASH* Books from?
There are quite a few craft companies here in the UK that stock SMASH* such as...
*Crafts u love
*Oyster Stamps
*Craft Obsessions
*Craft Island

Though my personal choice is Oyster Stamps they're not only the cheapest but also there customer service is fantastic!

What about accessories?
I do use the SMASH* accessories alongside my books however i find myself digging to the bottom of drawers in my craftroom for those embellishments i brought years ago that haven't seen daylight for so long. You can use virtually anything crafty in your books! here's a few ideas:

*Peel offs

*Stickers

*Journal pages/tags
*Ribbons and scrap papers
the list is endless really!!!

What do I SMASH* ????
Anything Really tho i have one of each colour theme SMASH* book now so i've decieded to keep each book on a topic.... here's an idea of what i mean...

Can I make my own????

I don't see why not some double sided papers and a bind it all will be a must or something similar, tho i prefer them ready done else i wouldnt want to cover up some beautiful papers!!! haha!!

What's my favourite colour Book????
Your all waiting for me to say PINK right?? well... sorry it's not acutally my favourite I absolutly love the Doodle Red Folio and i'm dredding starting that one as i love all the papers i dont wanna cover them hehe!!!

Is it for me????
Well... i've tried the 6x6, 8x8 and 12x12 scrapbooking and soooo can't do it not like those american's who simply create some works of art!!! this is perfect for me there's no right or wrong way of doing it and i love it!!! Smash*ing is all about doing it your way not others! sure you can grab ideas.... see even i do... here's some i created from inspiration from others...

See how i mean you can smash anything from recipets to labels to postcards to anything!!! possiblities are endless!!!!

Do i have to compleate it all in one go???
NOOOOOOOO!!! smash* Is designed to be picked up put down smash in smash out n about! you take it at your pace!!

Where can i get cool images???
Join pinterest.com!!! you'll never be short of images to smash*! there's so many cool things on there!

Ideas??
I get my ideas from everything... from day to day life, from blogging, the internet, smash stories blog, youtube... have a browse on google for smash* there's lots of inspiration!!!

Who Stole my lines???

Morning all!

It's rather chilly here in shropshire this morning!

I'm working 8 nights in a row at the moment so i'm not off till next wednesday 3 shifts down 5 to go, how naff is that lol!! never mind! I'm here with a brand new magnolia project this morning!

One of my new years resolutions is to try out new techniques i've not tried before including today's project!

Who's stolen my lines???????? I've wanted to try this for yonks i've seen so many beautiful projects coloured with no black lines i must admit the whole thought of it was scary! I'd actually coloured her a couple of weeks ago on a wednesday morning (yep those who know me know that's me colouring at 7am in the morning after a nightshift with matchsticks in my eyes) no idea how i held my concentration and i must admit it took me well over 2 hours to do!!! tho i really love the results! She's a new tilda i brought a while back 'Yoga Tilda' reminds me of the Wii game Wii fit 'I want to be a tree' haha!!!

I've coloured her with promarkers and flexmarkers (which i'm still learning they take some getting used to) but once ya get hang away ya go (my next learning curve is the pleats and creases eeek!!!

After me uploading my no lines tilda to my facebook page my lovely friends complimented me and wanted to see her on a card! I must admit it pained me alot it took me yonks to colour the last thing i want to do was mess it up! but after gathering some new stash (magnolia papers, punch and flowers) i thought what the heck let's go for it!!!

I love the new magnolia papers from the 2012 collection that's just come out they're soooo pretty and of course i so need some more!!! I added lots of gorjuss prima flowers and beautiful prima gem brads and pearl brads (which again sooo need more!!) along with some little tea roses from wild orchid crafts!

I recently finally got my hands on the two gorjuss butterfly punches from martha stewart which of course had to add in with some gems and sparkles and walla! my masterpiece is compleate! (No idea who this card's going to (if i can bear to part with it!) Please tell me i'm not the only crafter like that!! lol

Beacause i had no purpose of today's card i used a simple 'Just Because' sentiment which i brought yonks ago and of course in ture Carlyann style forgot i even had!! haha!!!

Gosh i can't quite believe it's now 2012!!!

Today i'm here with another brand new card! I went for new baby theme! Only because i wanted to make a pink card haha!!!

I've used the most adorable baby stamp i've found for a long time from lotv! so cute!!! coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers of course! so sweet!!! I've kept my card quite simple today not too fussy like normal... maybe my tastes and style are changing... hehe... i've dug out my pearlys and my gorjuss spotty organza for this card today! The papers are so lush they're from mme six by six stack i brought back in november at the NEC! wish i'd brought another as i love them!!!!

Looking Back at 2011...

Heya all!

Well it's the last day of 2011!!! how are you spending new years eve?

ME?? Well it'll be the same as the past four years... me and hubby worked last night so very tired, so i imagin we'll have tea have a glass or two of vino and watch TV and normally i can make it to about 11.50pm then i fall asleep!!! lol

On my blog for the last few years i've posted a looking back post on new years eve just for fun of my favourite creations from each month and anything memberable from that month! as i love to look back! ! So here we go for 2011.....

Witchy 21st

Morning all!

It's a little odd for me to be posting on a tuesday! but that's my day off this week, i'm in till christmas eve! do you have snow where you are? i'm feeling a little left out in my part of the UK, some places have lots it's been trying to snow all week yet it's all gone and not even so much as a snowflake has settled yet it's so very cold out!

I'm here this morning with a project yay!!! i've been trying to upload best part of an hour stupid flamin virgin media is soooooo unreliable wait till after xmas i'm off to sky!!! grrr! anyways... my project today is one i created back in november but forgotten i'd not blogged about it!

As you can see i've used one of Krista Smith's gorjuss saturated canary images....

This was actually an ordered card from my mum! she wanted a 21st birthday card for her friend at work she works with... all i got told is she liked witches and she was talking about some burning rain of death (part of a film or something) so i tried my best to incorprate that! lol

And i even managed to decorate inside which isn't something i normally get time to do!
I've used the yummy basic grey erie papers for this card thought they went perfect with the colour combo i chose!

My SMASH* Adventures Part 6....

Heya all!

I thought i would stop by my blog this evening with my latest smash* adventures... i've been snowed under with work this last week or so i've not had much time to breathe let alone play... it's so tireing these nights and with still coughing i'm feeling rather yucky at the moment... 5 months of coughing isn't right is it? i keep getting fobbed off with different things at docs etc that i'm about ready to kick butt!!! lol...

Anyways...

Before i'm allowed to move on with my Smash*ing Strudel christmas cat wanted me to post his piccy he had took the other day hehe!!! he found his christmas hat in the cat drawer of treats and naturally had to have it on! Tho secretly i think he love's it!! haha!!!

So yeah.... my Smash* Adventures part 6!!! have you this feeling this is a long winded process! well.... there's only 40 pages in each book but double that do double sided papers and away we go lots of posts.... i kinda broke my rule of doing one book before i started the next with only like 6 pages left to do in my retro blue folio i wanted well couldn't resist in starting my Orange folio (piccys to follow soon)

As some of you know i'm a bit of a tattoo freak! i have 12 i think at last count or maybe 13! lol i'm always on the look out for new ideas of what to have next! says me who's afraid of needles but it's different!!! anyone with a tattoo knows that!!! lol

There's so many wonderful ideas i can't choose half the time! I'm really addicted to washi tapes at the moment in my book they're cropping up all the time! and oooo how i love that want it smash* tape it's fantastic!!!

I wasn't really sure what to do with this page 'cheap thrills' so i decided to have things about being cheap, saving pennys etc, and my many a craft bargain!

Everyone needs a top 10 chocolate page!! ok so it was a mix of choc and sweets and fizzy pops hehe! did ya see my 1p's!!!! hehe kinda quirky for the remembering about 1p sweets when i was younger (also didn't help i was eating haribo at the time and the 1p's were sat there on my desk then i had this lightbulb moment!!) haha!

Men i like!!! well except my hubby of course! i have a thing for mr worldwide (pitbull) and Robert downey JR! ooooohhh!!! hehe ok so how many of you think im sad right now?? lol Well... it gets worse! yep Vin Deisel! and tom cruise and yep that is John barrowman behind him too! maybe it's my age... i dunno lol

This page is a little random i didn't do much to it as i quite like the design to be fair, i added a vellum 'imagine' quote and some pinterest bits and journally bits too it...

This page is all about my design teams i'm on! and lots of little notes about!!

And of course i had to have a little page about my crafting which really now thinking about it should have gone in my orange book as i've just started that about craft lol!!

little cracker....

Morning all!

Well the christmas tunes are well under way at work and the store is so busy i feel like i'm going insane with crackers! it's only natural i'd pop in this morning with my new creation that is all about Crackers!!

This week's challenge at Charisma is my choice of challenge! yay!!

So i thought what better way to have a challenge of all....

LAST MIN XMAS MAKES...

of course we have some wonderful sponsors this week! (how nice would an early xmas pressie be!!!?) hehe

so.... my project i've seen so many lovely handmade 3D items before that i wanted to try something new for me! so i decided seems im going crackers down the buiscuit isle at work why not make my own cracker!!!

I wanted to keep it traditonal christmassy colours so i stuck to gold green and red! and i absolutly adore the way it came out and so very quick and simple to make really!! I even got to play with my magnolia stash again! those poinsetta doohickeys are lush when they're cut out, they don't have any score marks unfortunatly so i did my own and stickled them too!

The Candy brads are soooo cool i think i had them in a christmas kit i brought from QVC a few years ago if anyone knows where i can get more please let me know i adore them!!!

I'm going to fill my cracker of something sweet for one of my family members for christmas i thinks!! (that's if i can get back into it hehe!!!)

With christmas right round the corner it was only natural that this week's challenge at My Mum's Craft Shop be Cute & Funky Christmas!!

I've used my favourite mouse today! (sssssssssshhhh don't tell those housemouse's that) seriously lovin these henry's from woj at the moment! so darn cute!!! anyways... I wanted to do a different colour combo for my christmassy card today don't get me wrong i love the traditional colours but i've always been one for different things hehe!

Sorry! feeling a little silly this morning!

A Christmas hug...

Santa is in his workshop sorting out who's been good this year!! have you???

I'm here this morning in the festive mood... my gosh i've been looking forward to a day off all week! it's manic at work Cracker isle is driving me crackers! seriously how many people need to eat crackers and cheese at christmas? i don't get it whats special about this food at christmas?? surley you'd eat enough at christmas dinner hehe!!

I adore my new magnolia stamp! i've been after her and him (snowman) for ages! so when it was finally instock straight into my basket it went!! hehe! it's been a while for a maggie fest... there's just so many fabulous stamps out there at the moment i'm having trouble in using my maggies (i know shocking for me right....)

My SMASH* Adventures Part 5....

Morning All!

I thought i'd do a Smash* update as so many of you are asking and e-mailing me nagging to show more of my book! yep it's true i've got about 7 pages left to do of my blue folio so i've a few piccys to show this morning! I'll keep updating this next week so watch out for more Smash* posts from me as they'll be coming quick as i've really knuckled down and smash*ed my heart out this past month!! hehe addicted well and truly!!

First up is my opening page!! all about me, random facts piccy of me in wedding dress (that'll be the only time you'll ever see me in a dress) lol!

Inside page now, this was orignally green so i covered it with some really cool bo bunny grid papers that i had in my stash sorry the name escapes me for now! just a little intro into what my blue folio is all about (me if ya hadn't guessed lol)

I must admit this page scared me a little so that's why there's not much on it but i wanted it to be simple! hehe

My next two pages are all about happiness, being happy is important to me! so naturally i had to smash it!!!

Sorry not much writing today i'm soooo tired from this christmas lark at work i'm zonko'd good news tho i've three days off yay!!!

Cold & Frosty Recipe...

Morning all!

I've a million and one christmas cards to get made for last min things and people but no time to do it all, so very tired from work nightmare at this time of year honestly! Supermarkets are closed for ONE day not a year!! honest i should know i work there!!! hehe!! anyways.....

I've dug out my favourite Tilda for today's creation she's so pretty and such a wonderful stamp to colour her name is 'silent night tilda' and you'd of seen her alot on my blog last christmas if your a regular! I ♥ Her!! she's defo my fav christmas stamp well... that was before the new collection came out! ok who am i kidding tho i have thinned my tildies collection as it erm got a bit croweded that's all i'll say!

Now normally i would create three cards one for each challenge but i loved how this one turned out so i thought it'd be nice to show this one off a little more and combined it!

I've used some gorjuss ribbon i found at my local hab shop which was 30p a meter (same ribbon on the market £1 a meter) so of course i went back to my hab shop and brought more!! hehe a girl can never have too much ribbon ASK EMMA!

hehe....

So.... from the craft Garden's challenge i picked Turquoise, Snowflakes, ribbon and office supply which i used a sweet paperclip which i brought yonks ago from fancy pants.....

Christmas Cutey....

Morning all!

Well it's true! that christmas is really on it's way!!!
Take it from me! i feel for anyone who works in retail espech supermarkets! so darn busy at the moment i fear it's only gonna get worse! I feel so zombiefied at the moment it's hard work this working nights buisness you'd think like after 4 years of doing it i'd be used to it! oh gosh nope!!! always tired! i don't know how i have time to breathe with my busy life hehe!

I wanted to get back into blogging as i've had scheduled posts and things set up but feel like i've not really blogged properly for a few weeks so i'm here this morning with a Christmassy creation!!! yay!!!

Now how darn cute is he???! his name's Chester!!! i have a lil story to tell... so here goes... i had some paypal pennies left from my selling on ebay that i thought i'd treat myself, so sat through ebay thinking what could i possibly buy??? burns a hole even on paypal haha!!! when i thought ooo i better read my magazines first as it's typical i spend then see something in a mag that i want and no pennies left.... i came across a page featuring lots of different digi's, me i'm not really a digi person... well i have been these last few weeks i tell ya! the bugs certainly biting! in particular i saw this cute little monkey!!!! so headed off to pollycraft's online shop!

Then i saw 100 digi's for 9.99!! omg!!! how could i resist that i mean com'on that's a fantastic price, and i so couldn't resist i mean i've got lots of pollycraft stamps and they're so lovely to colour so i thought yeah why not.... then i came across mr chester the monkey up there!! how can i not buy him sooooo cute! then i saw the non christmas collection too so yeah you know where my story's going! i spent all my paypal pennies on digi's but oooo i do love him he's my fav stamp i think i've seen in a long while!!!

So here's i am this morning with my christmas chester card!!! it is actually for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge which there theme for the next 4 weeks is Christmas Fun! so naturally i feel a more than one card being entered here with all these new digi's ive brought!!! hehe

Baby boy...

Morning all!

ooooo a month and 2 days to go till santa will have been for his brandy and rudolph his mince pie, well that's what he gets in my house! tho i think it's more the cat that eats the mince pie hehe!! feels like yonks since i posted, im still coughing my head off! 13 weeks later! im still not right! but anyways....

I'm here this morning with a new magnolia project! I shock feel like i'm going off these stamps?! not sure what's wrong with me!! my tastes maybe changing dunno hehe... not that i'll part with them all i couldn't do that hehe!!! anyways....

Today's card is featuring the sweet baby angel magnolia stamp! I must admit when i first saw this stamp i didn't really like it but i think it's so versitile when it comes to girl or boy! and fell in love as soon as i stamped it!! hehe....

I thought i'd be different and use my angel baby stamp for this challenge!

I've used all my favourite craftwork cards bits for my card today! I love there little boy blue collection tho i find sometimes when i buy things i like i hate to use them! hehe Don't you find that!?!

Dancing Springtime Moments

Morning all!

Not long till Santa pops himself down your chimney!!! just over a month to go!!!

This year has gone so unbelievably quick!!! It's that time of month where the supermarket work is HELL!!! (help me!!!) work is soooo busy!!! you'd not seriously believe how many bags of flour, raisans, cranberry sauce and things like that one store sees! Bearing in mind Cranberry sauce jars come in cases of 6, we're lucky if we see 400 cases a week go through the store, that's a lot of cranberry sauce!! (personally i hate the stuff) but i like the juice lol.... anyway...

I've seen so many wonderful christmas projects that my christmas mojo is bursting but i had to sneak a 'normal' project in on my blog!! hehe today's challenge at Charisma is being set by the lovely Alison!!! she's chosen the theme

LACE & PEARLS

Arrrrghhhh i must admit i ran a mile when i first saw this challenge.. pearls i can cope with but i don't do the lacey bit very well... well i think so.. but i'm on a misson to overcome my fears in crafting (theres lots of them believe me!) and also to start using my neglected stamps that have never seen ink! INCLUDING this lovely ballerina tilda! which i've erm had yonks!!!!

I wanted to give my card today an earthy vintagey feel so dug out my old paper distress ink (how did i not use this before?) i love the effects it's given my papers and leaves, my leaves are cut out on my Slice, i keep forgetting about my lil pink machine, naughty girl as hubby spent lots of pennys on it!! haha... opppsie i best use it more! i've even used my liquid pearls something else i forget that i own! (i surely can't be the only crafter who forgets what i have???)

I adore these flowers from wild orchid crafts they're so pretty think i need to place another order hehe!!!

Morning all!

Hope you are all well! i can't believe we're half way through november already! Mr Claus will be down our chimneys in no time! I'm here this morning to show you my new card for my mums craft shop design team!

I choose to mix and match my designer papers, this also being the first card i've created with digital papers! something new i've ventured into after persuading my hubby i wont break our printer and i'll pay for the inks!! hehe!! I chose to use Nitwit's Confection collection papers and Echo park walk in the park to create my card today!

The card is actually for a friends birthday which has been and gone now so i'm safe to show it off! and the fab news was she loved it... why apples? well because her last name is appleby and that's her nickname!!! as well as manfoot (but that's another story hehe)

Smash*ing on a sunday afternoon....

Afternoon or evening depends on what ya class 4.17pm as hehe!

Sorry i've not posted in a few days been busy back at work with the christmas stuff coming in left right and center tonight promises to be very busy bee!! Christmas promotion change at work urgh! had enough of the season already and it's not really began yet!

Saying that i've nearly finished my christmas shopping just a few bits left to get at the start of decemeber and i'm all done.. have you finished yours yet?

Well... i can't say i've made any cards since coming back from the NEC because i don't actually think i have i've been too wrapped up in the SMASH* addiction! I thought i'd show you what i've done this afternoon! I've got another 37 sides to finish in my blue book and it's done!!! yay!!! i'll do a video and some piccy posts again next week so you can see what i've been upto!

But this afternoon i set my heart on distroying my front cover.. ok i didn't distroy it but thats what i thought i was going to do, even tho i've nevvvvvvvver masked and inked before i'm really pleased with the results!!!

As you can see it's my retro blue folio that i'm working on at the moment, i really want to start my others yep i brought all of them! but im being good one folio at a time! trying to think of different themes for them, this one's all about me! things i like and things that make me happy! :-) hehe!

So my cover.... i started doodling inside the embossed areas with sakura pens then stretched over to adding washi tape and the smash tapes hehe! then out came the butterfly punches to make my masks (no idea if this would work at this point) and started inking with distress inks! yay it turned out better than i thought! out came the glue gun to stick my buttons on! (just got to label the spine yet but that's another days work!) i added lots of pearls in matching colours, and spritz the cover with tattered angels glimmer mists to make it sparkle (not that you can tell in the pic) lol and finally i alterd my smash band with a giant fabric flower!

so yeah! that's where i'm upto i've done so much more to my book since my video i'll have to crack on and film the rest for you to see! i'll be back soon with some creations!!!

So it's my last day of my holidays from work booo!!! lol i don't want to go back!!! please don't make me!!??!?! ok ok i dont exactly mind my job but it's going to be now the nightmare starts! Evening all!!

Just wanted to pop by with a quick creation, nothing oooover the top or massive amohoots of time spent... as i was just playing with bits and bobs! i wanted to create a simple christmas card for the hubby!!

I've unpacked my NEC goodies found new homes in my craftroom for them so it's only natural that i go play and make a mess!!! this card i've used a digi from kenny k's christmas collection really like these so easy to colour!!! Added a spot of lacey material and some glitter and a lovely pressie die cut i've had for yonks along with my fav basic grey paper! and walla......

Morning! Back armed with NEC goodies!

Morning all!

Sorry for the massive loooong post! I had a fantastic day at the NEC yesterday!!!
Finally got to meet my friend Debs at Debbee's CD's (the one who im creativing for!!) her outfit was absolutly fantastic! dressed as a bumble bee, if you went you wouldn't of missed her lol!!

I also bumped into my friend Sheryl & her friend (who's name i should know but escapes my air head this morning i had no idea they were going!! was lovely to see you both!! I popped to see Jacqui at LOTV, she was mega busy demo'ing with the huggest bag of copics ive ever seen in my life lol!! I also met up with my DT co-owner & buddy Gemma!! (who i totally feel for her poor feet) she's been mega busy on the samual talyors stand!!!

so what did i buy......

The whole lot of Smash books! (inc the orange book that i left at the bloomin stand by accident but Gemma picked it up for me! (shes a diamond) i was in a right panic when i got home!! lol

Bargain sets of dies £1, £2 from crafts u love, ideal for my smashing!

More smash products! (addicted can you tell??)

And more!!! i acidently brought two of the pockets thinking i hadn't brought them already (crafts u love were 50p dearer... teaches me!! need to shop around at these places!!

Apologies for the upside downess silly phone camera i was exicted!! but i got some nitwit die cuts for £1! some 7 gypsies stickers for my books! smash tape ooo i love this stuff!!! and bo bunny tags and journal spots

Now then i went with the thought of not buying ANY lotv stamps as i've got tons and some not even inked! but i couldn't resist the sweet kitty cats they've got!!! so had to have 5! of course being 5 for £20!

Basic grey buttons £1! and a very sweet cat die £1.50! and look at that stamp i found whilst rooting! he's adorable never seen it before so had to have!

I adore these wooden buttons, i actually didn't think the stall was there till i spied it on the way out! 3 for £1! wish i'd brought more now! but i even brought robbie one see the ferrari!!! hehe and some more stickles of course!!!

Gems all £1 a pack or 6x £5!

Pearls same price but had to stock up!!!

Oh yeah more paper! not that i need any! but the mme kite was on my list! papermania mistletoe was only a £1 so how could i not!!!

I found a lovely christmas 8x8 pad for £2.50! and the other two were £1 each so had to have! lol as you do!

I was really disapointed back in march the Craftwork cards stand wasn't there.. and i was excited they'd be here this nov, BUT the stall was tiny and had hardly anything sooo disapointed in them!!! boo as i love therre stuff i would of brought more... but i got a goodybag for £10!

Ok! so i've wanted the new flex markers for a while and the cheapest i found them was... 4 sets for £39! hehe

6x6 cards!! and magnolia ink!!! yay!!!

Bargain of the day... Martha stewart punch £3.50! with 3 sweet butterfly stamps that go inside! there were others which i wish i'd got now but im pleased i got this one!!

last but not least i picked this set up for £1!! bargain! i love smirk lol!

I spent well over my budget as normal lol and i brought some other non crafty but christmas pressies in the crafts for christmas section of the show that i can't share for obvious reasons they're pressies lol!
Had a fantastic day!!! can't now wait for March's show!

I've now got to go find all new homes for my stash in my craftroom that's been hit by a bomb lol!

Morning all!

I'm currently having great fun making my list for the NEC on saturday!! I wonder what bargains i can find this year!! oooo i'm so excited i can't wait!!!

I'm here today with the most gorjuss digi on my card today i've seen in a long time! If you've not seen Krista Smith's Digi's at saturated canary where have you been??? I absolutly adore them!!! This one is called Let it Rain! so pretty and so nice to colour!

My card today is for my DT at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges! You should really come play with us!!! We have some fab challenges and the girls are all wonderful to work with and very talented! I still can't belive they asked me to be on the DT lol!!

Easy sqeezy peezy!!!

I wanted to use my new digi and really go to town with colour, something you'll notice i'm experimenting with recently! Normally i stick to no more than 2/3 colours but i love all these vibrant papers and bits and bobs i keep buying hehe!

She's coloured with promarkers and spectrum noirs (how i ♥ these pens) I've seen alot of negativity on Spectrum noirs since they came out, my only hmpft about them is yes where the name of the colour on the end is scratched on some pens but other than that i love them!!! they're just basically promarkers just more colours and i seem to prefer the pinks in the SP's unlike the dullness of the pink promarkers ya know the baby pink isn't what i'd call baby pink neither is the pastel pink.... so it's worth buying some if you'd like some nice other colours hehe!!

Anyways... here's the whole thing! I'll be back laters if i can tear myself away from my smash book! hehe!

Hello all!!! i'm on my hol's from work again! I'm sooo eeeekkkk excited that i'll be going to the NEC on saturday!!! I've a list as long as my arm! Soooo squeely excited!! Can you tell??

Actually i found this a tad bit difficult even sat and thought right i can do this started colouring and realised i'd coloured an image in green! IDIOT!!! LOL yeah i do beat myself up if i dont get it right lol

Morning all!

My gosh it's so bitterly cold this morning, i've just got in from work thought i'd do another SMASH* postie!
I'm still not well at the moment, Pluerisy isn't nice it's now a month on and i thought I was getting better that was until hubby KINDLY past on his cold to me and now i'm resembling a stuffed up elf with rudolphs nose to match! coughing my head off.... another trip to the doctors on monday i think, 2 lots of antibiotics and i'm still poorly.. really bugging me now... ANYWAYS....

I've been SMASH* ing in my retro blue folio again this week! got lots of pages on the go, can't wait till next sunday to pick my HUGE SMASH* order up from the NEC (will share piccys when i get back promise!)

This page had the words '2 of a kind' on i thought seems i have 2 kitty kats apple & Strudel this was purrrrfect for them! (punn intended hehe) The piccy is one of the first i took when then back then 3 years ago they could sit in the palm of my hand now they're great big lumps! I brought these really coool my minds eye journal cards from craft obsessions which i managed to get the last pet information one! seems there bro and sister it was ideal being one card that i slotted in the handmade paper pouch...

My second SMASH* page today was actually an idea i found surfing the net so i made it my own! I love how i've doodled on this and been able to add my own thoughts and feelings to this page! as you've probs guessed this folio is about all the things that make me smile and make me happy! (im buying one of each colour folios eeekkkk! lots of SMASH* ing ahead!!) and the mini folio too which i'm going to do as all the things i hate/make me sad... as i was told it's good to remember the bad things too! So this page i created the other day was all about me on that day!!! hehe

I suppose i better head off to bed! Only tonight in work and i'm off on holidays for 12 days! yay!!!

Another week has just flown by quicker than i could say craft! lol 3 more days and i'm on holiday from work again!! yay! but a week on sunday i'll be at the NEC!!! sooooo cannot wait to go!

Halloween isn't far away now! those ghosts and ghools will be out in masses!! spooking all the young kiddys!

My SMASH* Adventures Part 2....

Heya all!

Thought seens as i'm up early today i'd do a little post with my SMASH*'ing adventures! something i've been terribly caught up in recenetly i've only actually made one card since this arrived!!! lol

SOOOOO addictive! I'm excited for the NEC show in 2 weeks as i'll get my hands on the other books too! which i've preordered and can't wait to get and SMASH* away in!

So of course... I'm in the Retro Blue Folio at the moment (going to do one at a time!)

My pages which i'm showing you today are....
Say it! I've found some wonderful and funny sayings around the internet which i love and wanted somewhere to keep them.... So here's my double page spread!! (And if your not a member of Pinterest omg where have you been!!)

I've used some of my own doodles and a lovely stamp from debbie moore which i love!! the stickies are from colourboc that i've had for yonks and never used (SMASH* is a fab way to use up little bits you've never used! yet you like!)

I do find myself going back to these pages and adding doodles and little words can't help myself!

My next page was already decorated in the background (i hate covering things up but Top 10 i thought i'd do for my craftyness!)

I love how there is no wrong or right way of doing these folios! your imagination is endless!!!

My SMASH* Adventures Part 1..

Heya all!

Ok so i'm a littttttttle excited with my post today! I've been SMASH* ing all week since i've been poorly! and wanted to show off a little what i'd done so far with my book! (and yep i've even preordered all the new colours!) i know theres an easy way to create your own with your own papers, but i like the idea of having the actual SMASH* book ready made and they're really pretty!

The book i've started with is the Retro Blue folio! it's so me!!! i love the papers inside!!! yummy and the outsides enbossed pattern is lovely (i'm yet to know what to do with the front so i've left it alone at the moment.....

Now then SMASH* it is yes your right the OLD way of scrapping just putting things randomly in a book, so the concept isn't new! but i love the idea's of quotes on pages and pretty papers... espech as i struggle with what i can MODERN 12x12 scrapping this is ideal for me!!!

Ok... so when you first open the Blue Retro SMASH* book it doesn't look like this there are two green pages that are blank like any start to any book! so i wanted to brighten them up using some of my favourite papers the one on the left is by american crafts and the right is echo park! offf course!!!
My idea's for my books are going to be everything that makes me happy from smileys to quotes to random facts about me and my life to piccys to anything really!!

When i get the Black mini SMASH* folio i'm going to do that with everything i hate, things that make me unhappy, why?? because as well as remembering the good times it's also great to remember the things that make me sad too!!

These pages i'm showing arn't finished, you can SMASH* anything you like in your book and i want mine crammed!!! so at the moment that's how the first two look!

This is my welcome page the one on the left! I wrote a little about my book and what i wanted it for used some of my fav american crafts stamps to go with the papers! and created a lil pocket from DCWV Mango fresh stack.

My 2nd Page... i'll add here... the vellumy page actually comes inside all of the folio's but i really like it it's quite quirky so i left it inside this book! My fav echo park walk in the park spotty paper i covered this green page in and used some cool funky sparkly letters to create my name down the side (of course!!)

I might add insert here ----> that a smash book isn't designed to start at the beginning and work page by page it's one of those books you can chop and change as much as you like currently i have about 15 pages on the go.... these i'm happy with at the moment so i thought i'd show you them!

Next i wanted to share my Top 10 page... it was blank with the gorjuss paper and top ten wrote on already but i wanted to use this page for me about my crafting... again lots of space left which i find myself adding bits to and sticking things in as and when i find things in my craftroom!

So that's my SMASH* adventures for this week! I'll of course be showing you more of my book as and when!! remember if you get one! there is NO wrong way of doing it it's all about you! and what you like!!!

Just a quick checking in to let you all know i'm feeling a little better pain in my back is finally starting to ease... back to work tommrrow :( booo! but i gotta get some pennies for the NEC!! To which i now can't wait!! as i've seen so many lil things i want to get!!!

Ok so technic i've had this 2 days now but it's here!!!!!!!!!!!!
My SMASH book!!! I've literally nagged my hubby i sooooo want more for crimbo!

i'm currently working on a few pages but thought i'd pop in and let you all know!! hehe my new craze!! i love it i must admit i was a little dawnted when it first came i can't cover beautiful pages but i tell ya once you start smashing by god it becomes addictive!!!

ill be back with more smash posts shortly!

Thank you to those who are visiting reg and asking how i am, I'm in alot of pain with my back at the moment coughing i slipped 3 disc's doc confirmed today he's also put me on another set of antibiotics for pluerisy tho this is starting to get better! so plenty of rest for me! i'll be ok!

Morning all!

Gosh arn't these week's just flying by! Christmas is just around the corner... has anyone started there shopping yet? I so don't know what to get anyone this year!!!Well i thought i was starting to get better until i coughed so hard yesterday i was on my craftroom floor i've either pulled the big muscle in back or slipped a disc but i can hardly move this morning and i think between coughing and crying in pain i've had about 2 hours sleep last night which aint good :(

Well i'm here this morning with a brand new challenge from Team Carly at Charisma, my lovely Teamie Lisa has picked the challenge -

Now i'm not the best at sewing even tho i got a A* in my Textiles GCSE but that was ten years ago! and you'd be lucky if i can remember how to thread the damm machine now, so i had to go for faux!!!!

I've used my looooovely penny black kitty in a mug stamp today, i brought this (shamefully hides) over a year ago and have never EVER used it... oooppps! (bit like most of my penny blacks) eeeek! i'm so very naughty!!! I love the sentiment which is actually from housemouse, but it went so sweet with my image, i attempted some fake stitches around the bottom of my card but i'm not happy with these i need to dig my sewing machine out i thinks........

The papers are from My minds eye they're gorjuss i'm going to have to see if i can get another pad at the NEC as i've nearly used them all! i love the new collections my minds eye have brought out recently they're so funky (weakness here for paper!)

Yep how many of you are now singing that song??? do the shake... the hippie hippie shake... so sorry!! but that's what i was like last week dancing around... when the lovely Carrie e-mailed me asking me if i wanted to join the lovely DT at....

Of course naturally i said YESSSSSSSSSS!!! As fast as i could!!! i'm so excited to be on there Design Team! I recently not long ago found the shop (here) Kitty the lady who owns the shop is lovely she helped me out when i first placed an order!!!! and i have to say this is fast growing one of my fav online shoppys!! They stock absolutly allsorts!! yummy things!!! so really how could i turn it down???

I will be having some candy very shortly to celebrate, im in midst of putting it together but im rather poorly at the moment x

Well.... today's my first challenge project for the design Team and this week's theme is to create something that....

'Reminds you of a song'

easy peasy i thought! i had this song stuck in my head all the time (even now) whilst creating my card! Now for my card today i've been inspired by my lovely bloggy friend Tasha, she creates such wonderful cards with stickers and dies and thats something that really freaks me out, well it did till i did this card! so off over her blog to find out what she's used and where she got things and i came up with this little treasure!!

I wanted to use one of my new digi's from saturated canary krista's digis are beautiful and i love colouring them in!!! The stars are a MFT Die from my mum's craft shop and Happy birthday letters i managed to get on ebay (again inspired by Tasha) it's all her fault about these stars! so much so i'm going to have to buy another set of dies because i accidently broke one :-( i must admit i did cry :-( hate it when i brokend something boooo!!!

I really wanted to go to town with colour on my project she's a hippie after all and they represent all peace love and everything bright and bold! The ribbon OMG!! I absolutly love this my friend Emma brought me it back from the States it's by american crafts i soooo need some more!!! She's going back in Jan but i don't think i can wait that long so if anyone knows where i can get some 'awesome' ribbon from do let me know!!!

Gosh week's are flying by! Not long till i'm on holiday from work again! lol looking forward to the NEC show in november!!! is anyone going?? love to meet up if your going the same day sat/sun!

EEKKKKK!!! I must admit when i saw this i ran straight out of my craftroom chasing my mojo down the stairs as i went! lol but it wasn't as bad as i first thought!!! and i really like my results!

Out came all things pink! Including these! I LOVE ♥♥♥ these little wired butterflys i picked up 10 for £1 from the range, they do all different colours but they're so sweet!

I also dug out my spotty organza ribbon which i brought from poppicrafts last stash sale on ebay! gosh i wish michelle would re think and open poppicrafts back up! i miss there ribbon so much!!!!

Smashing Sweet!!

Hey all!

Thought i would pop in as i'm currently layed up on the sofa, my chest has gotten worse, went to doctors yesterday he's given me some strong antibiotics (if i could keep them down) im sure they'd help! I feel so down and out at the moment with being ill really makes me feel sad and not intrested in anything!.... sorry i won't depress you anymore lol....

I wanted to share my new obsession with all... alot of people don't know about something NEW! even though it's been out a while! it was released at CHA back in april.... what am i talking about???

The new Smash books from K&Co / EK Success of course! how did i find out about them... well i was randomly searching and blog hoping to revive my mojo when i came across this video! THAT WAS IT!!! totally hooked drove my hubby insane! I NEED ONE OF THOSE!!!

It was a little toughy trying to find one in stock as they're sold out everywhere in the UK bar one place... which i can't share as i'm wanting the other they have left in stock to add to my order later today hehe!!! but OMG! I know the idea isn't that hard to make your own version, and i know most places that did stock them like crafts u love will have them back in but not until 2012!!! well i can't wait that long!!

I think i like the whole concept of 'SMASHING' it seems so much more me!!! than normal scrapbooking which i struggle with... i'm so excited i've been collecting allsorts for my books, so much so i need them all!!!! I think this is something i could really stick at.... so.... whatcha think???

I'll be back on wednesday i think with some projects off for a nap, unsure if ill go to work till later as the cough is exchrusiating pain!! (little rant here - doesn't it just bug you when your manager can see your generally ill yet says to you 'im disapointed in you for being off sick' yet others have days off and nothings ever said to them........) well..... morrisons isn't the best place to work for trust me! i'm fuming so i'll leave it there before i get wound up and cough again!

Hey all

Thought I'd quickly pop in to let you all know I've not disappeared I'm suffering with this horrible chest infection, been back to the doctors today for some antibiotic's so fingers crossed they'll work!!!

I've some exciting news on Wednesday comin so keep your eyes peeled I'll also be collecting a candy up this week to celebrate so watch out for that too!!

Good morning all!

I'm currently snoozing my head off as i was at work last night! seems funny being back at work 3 nights and two nights off! but hey!! i'm not complaining! I'll be up at dinner!! So i've left my bloggy to show you my latest Project 'ssssasssy!!' I've an unbelievable thing for these stamps at the moment (starting to think they may over take my love for magnolia) tho that's going to be hard to prove!!!!

What a broad horizion that theme is loads of ideas popped into my head! but i wanted to use my fav sassy and use som chippys that i've had for yonks just never got round to using them! (typical me of course!)

I adore the black lacey material i've used on my card today! Couldn't for the life of me tell you where it's from i can't really remember to be honest! And i love these basic grey joyeux noel papers because you don't have to use them just for christmas!!!

Evening all!!

Hope all is well in the land of craftyness and glitter! and of course pinkness!!!
I'm here well just about still poorly.... not getting over this very easily i tell ya, i've now come down with a cold on top... (shoot me now!!) hehe...

anyways... i've some exciting news that i so want to share right now but my lips are sealed till next wednesday morning!!! (keep an eye out as i'll be putting some candy together too to celebrate!!)

I'm here tonight with a little post of a choo choo train card, my step-dad's birthday is today so i'm safe to post it now!!! I have adored this little set from stampin' up! for a very long time and like most of my stamps he's neglected ooppsie... maybe i should set a rule not to buy anymore stamps till i've used them all at least once... that would save me a fortune i tell ya i'd be here for about 100 years!!! just with the ones i've got now lol... but i can't do that can i??!?! hehe....

I don't often decorate the inside of my cards as it takes me sooooo long on the front never mind the inside but i thought i would with this one.... only stampin but it's still sweet! (trains... well my step-dad runs a model railway buisness) so that's his hobby and his passion so i thought it ness to make a train card! (so handy this set!!) hehe...

Hey hey!

I'm back with my second post this morning!!

See below for my Craft Garden DT post!

Now i've been harbouring a little secret since the middle of September! The girls over at The Crafty Calendar Challenge were having a design team call in september, and i was gutted i had no craftroom to create something for the call, so i thought to myself well... if i e-mail them and explain and send some samples then who knows!

I was well chuffed when the lovely Lynne e-mailed me back to say she'd accept my e-mail as an aplicant! and was even smilier when she e-mailed me later on in the month to tell me i'd made the DT!!! hehe!!!

So i'm here again this morning with a brand new Magnolia creation (how i've missed these beautys!!) hehe for this month's challenge at The Crafty Calendar Challenge... which the theme this month is....

SPOOKY FOR HALLOWEEN!!

Naturally it is!! it's october! halloween cards are one of my favourite things to make, tho it is sad not alot of people chose to celebrate halloween in the UK i find it's more popular in the USA....

I wanted to create something a little out of the box and try some new techniques at the same time (i've been dying to try chalking cloudy backgrounds) and for my first attempt at spooky clouds i love it!!! lol... i've used one of my fav tilda's tilda with broom, ok i've not got an absolutle favourite because i love them all!!! and the yummy papers i brought a while back at Quixotic there called Memory box black bird! perfect for spooky creations!

I even cut out the little black bats and the ''boo!'' sentiment on my slice! (which ive been told by hubby i've got to use more!!!) oppsie!!!

Sassy Friends... & DT Call

Morning all!

I can't quite believe it's the 1st of October already!!!

This year is certainly flying by in the wink of an eye!! It'll soon be christmas so out comes all my christmas papers stamps and thingys oooo... i've got to get a move on this year with christmas orders flowing out of my ears already!!

But today i'm here to show you my brand new project for this month's DT work at The Craft Garden!

As you can see i've used the adorable 'little light of mine' simply sassy stamp, she's one of my favourites i think, tho i do tend to love them all and neeeeed them all in my stamp collection (just dont tell hubby he'll shout!!) haha

This Month over at The Craft Garden it's not exactly a challenge... well it is... but... it's also a DT Call!!!

We're looking for some fab fresh new designers to come play with us! there's a wonderful piccy to gain inspiration from but basically we want to SEE YOUR STYLE! Hop over to the Challenge blog for more details, but be warned, you've not got all month... the DT call will close on the 16th October so Kerry can make the toughy choice for the new DT to join us ready for November 1st!!!

So back to my card this morning.... I took inspiration to give my card a vintagey flowery theme from the piccy over at the challenge blog but also at the same time wanted to show my style... that being PINK! of course!! com'on you wouldn't want it any other way would you??? hehe!

I've used the grojuss sassy coloured with promarkers and lots of glitter, the new collection of Kaisercraft papers which i absolutly adore these ones, they're called Chanteuse! so pretty full of greens pinks and browns! along with rubon's!!! i know shock there for me also by kaisercraft same collection!

The little wooden ribbon slider i brought last march at the NEC and truth be told i'd actually forgot i'd brought them until the redeisgning of my craftroom when i found them.... they're on my shopping list for NEC this november again as i do like them! (P.s is anyone going the Sunday?? if so let me know could meety up!)

Back to work for me on sunday this fortnight has gone so very very quick! I'm still suffering with my chest and things feel awful today, so i'm off in the craftroom to colour i thinks!

I'm here with a new project this morning for my team's challenge at Charisma!

It's so nice to have this sort of theme at this time of the year as i'm busy with christmas cards and orders it's kinda nice to have a break from the festive period that's coming up shortly!

I've dug out my favourite Tickled Pink stamp of all time Lil Lolita lilith valentine, she's such a pleasure to colour and i can think of so many uses for her!

I've used papers that i got as a freebie months back in a magazine i couldn't tell you which all i know is the papers are from the company nitwit! i do adore this collection so going to have to buy more! they're the perfect pinks for me!

I've used a mixed flower for my card today the white is from prima and the dotty is from another collection name escapes me at this time of the morning, finished with a beautiful 'Live' brad from paper-angels which i adore i've so many of these i forget to use them!

Quick postie tonight I thought I'd get my paws on mums iPhone she's been on sofa all day coughing her head off, yuk yuk me and apple curled up away from her!!

Last thing we need is cat flu! Think dads told mum she's should go back to the doctors again!! Tomorrow 4am!! I tell ya there's me snuggled in my bed when I'm suddenly woken up by something that sounds awful poor mum didn't sleep a wink for cough cough all night! Dad bit angry at he I thinks (cus he's tired) that's the good thing about being a cat you see!

Looks like pleurisy again for mum she seems to get it every year!!!? Kittys no idea why!? So I thought I'd (strudel) pop along and say hey to all mums followers! (I wanna be meow famous too ya know!!)

Best go get my mouse and see if dad wants to play! (mum normally does but she's poorly sick so leave her to Zzzzz)

Found a pic on mums phone of me!!! (she loves me u see) me in the bath Well next to taps but couldn't work out why she's got a glass panel..... Maybe it's a human thing us cats don't know everything hehe I can't work out how to upload it so will keep trying meoooow!!

I think I'll be announcing mums candy tomorrow if she's still pawly.... Ooo I wonder if I should hold a candy too see what I can pinch outta craftroom when she's not looking.... Btw mums room sooo not my colour I did my best to fight for blue but as usual Apple won with PINK lol

Hope all is well in the land of craftyness! I had a fantastic day yesterday with my DT buddy Gemma!! lots of nattering and crafty shopping and playing!! :-).
I'm not doing too good today woke at 4am coughing my head off feel awful again!

Anyways... not sure what i'm doing today maybe a day infront of the tele! (that's if the hubby will turn off bloomin sky sports, drives me nuts)!!

Feeling Christmassy... but simple...

Morning all!

It's a damp coldy morning here in Telford! But the sun is looking like he want's to come out to play!
My DT Buddy Gemma is coming over to mine today to play in my new craftroom yay!!! she's very excited!! hehe.

My chest seems to be alot better today tho i'm still coughing alot but mainly at night (hubby says he's gonna suffacate me keeping him awake :-( ) not very nice is it???! hehe

Anyways... I'm here with a little christmassy project that actually only took me about twenty minutes (that's shocking for me when it normally takes anywhere between 2-5 hours per card) lol but there's no colouring on today's card.

I saw a fantastic Challenge at the Allsorts Challenge Blo g there challenge this week is to 'keep it simple'. And as many of you know that's not my style so i thought i'd be different and have a go at it, and to be honest i like the results and it wasn't that difficult as i thought it would be... tho i must admit i'm one for keep adding things to my card!

I dug out my Stampin' Up 'dasher' stamp that i 'HAD' to have this time last year and I regretfully have to say it's seen ink about erm once!! maybe twice! But it's such a lovely stamp and with the simpleness of my card i think he's going to be seen on alot of my christmas cards this year! (i've sooooo many to get made) but i'm lacking christmas mojo as per norm!

So yeah.... i used my lovely embossing folder (from hello kitty) too which these i have loads but i always always forget i have them (does anyone else do that?) some gorjuss ribbon that i picked up for about 50p pm a few weeks back whilst out shopping with my DT buddy and good friend Emma, and of course the little gems, my cards wouldn't be compleate without gems now would they......

I'll stop ramberling now as i've got to go get my craftroom in a state of tidyness (yep it's a mess) lol before Gemma gets here!!! hehe

Bring You A Rose...

Morning all!

Thought i'd pop by and show you my latest Magnolia Creation, sweet and simple for today! I've not been too well these last couple of days I've had a niggly cough the last 3 weeks or so and it's turned into a full blown chest infection, cough cough cough! yuk!! lol really took me off my feet yesterday i spent most of the day on the sofa infront of the box!

I'm feeling a little better today so i've had chance to put the finishing touches to my card this morning! As you do! I'm loving my new craftroom now! so pink! and so me!!! i've tons of ideas and a list as long as the empire state building of materials and stamps i'd like from the NEC (i do hope Emma know's we're going to be bringing loads back!!) haha!!!

I've Dug out one of my fav tilda's for this mornings creation 'Tilda with peony' tho it looks like a rose to me!!! maybe i've got the name wrong???? I've been experimenting with my blues this week it's a colour that really scares me not sure why it's a little out of my comfort zone i thinks!

I've kept my card quite clean and simple for today (unlike me you say!) no wonder i'm poorly sick! I've used lots of gems in the matching colours and finally got around to using my new neglected martha stewart hydranger punch! (so naughty) and my marianne swirl dies, which i love now i've got the nack to actually get the daft things out of the die!

Snowflakes... Father Christmas is on his way...

Hiya all!!

Finally i have a creation to show you since being in my new craft studio, i've been catching up and getting ahead for my Design Team projects but today i was eager to create something just for my blog hehe!! so ok father christmas isn't on his way well... he's gettin ready too making all those toys!! hehe and stamps for us crafters!!

You may remember just before the big move out i was obsessed with the new sassy stamps that i brought from funky kits, as many of you know i didn't really get much time to play with them, and yeah they've been out ages but i never knew about sassy's till my buddy Shannon told me about them... n now... well i'm hooked!!!

So out came one of my fav sassy stamps 'ms hippie chick' hehe! i actually wanted to do something different with her, as i think she's a summery kinda stamp i wanted to change her to a christmassy stamp, i do love doing this to my stamps at this time of year, you'd be suprised how easy and how many stamps are that versitile you can!

So as you can see from the piccy above i've instead of colouring her flowers in her hair added some snowflake brads and coloured her a blue colour to go with my papers and snowflake feel of todays card!

I also wanted to use one of my 'father christmas' charm snaps that my lovely buddy shannon brought me for my birthday back in july! she's been waiting to see what i do with them... well i'm got a few more ideas coming up! but i love them.... where can i get more!!!!

I'm not a fantastic jewellery maker myself so i've been trying to use up my mountains of gems and beads so i created this dangly charm myself! along with the MOST used die in my studio Snowflake, that was the best £7 i've ever spent on a die and has to be my favourite die, if you look back through last years christmas cards you'll see i love it i use it quite alot! so be prepared to see it more than 50 times between now and december hehe!!

I even got my new space all messy with distress inks on this card too,,, ooo how've i missed my room so much lol!!

I got my butt into gear and started sorting after much nagging of the hubby as day 16 was pretty BORRRRING!! so he finally let me back in my craft room yesterday (soooo didn't want to go to work) but anyhoo, I was home this morning in bed for 4 hours up and unpacking!!!!

It's virtually finished tho we've got the following left to do... (ill tell ya on piccys easier!) lol

oooooo!!!!! how exciting! You won't see any of the underneath soon, as i'm putting material up on net cords to hide everything... just got to find the right pink!

Righto on with the tour... i think when hubby shows me how to use his camera i may do a youtube video so i can show you properly.. whatcha think!??! This is my Wall 'O' ribbon!!! hehe!! I have sooo much ribbon mainly my friend Emma's fault she erm is worse than me believe it or not!!! haha! of course i store my ribbons with ribbon rings such a fab way to see A what you've got and B so tidy!! hehe...

My Pink window!!! buckets full of ribbon ends and woc flowers! and of course CAKE!!! lol

I wanted a section in my craftroom for my cutting machines, something that was just plonked on a clapped out old desk before... so here's this bit, with all my ikea jars full of brads, eyelets, and gems etc etc.... and of course my heart of cards that i keep special cards from friends on!

Along side i've my inspiration desk... i wanted to have my hundreds of magazines (and yep i had to part with over half of the collection as they wouldn't fit!) so i could look through them when my mojo goes on holiday or decides he's had enough of pink so i brought some plain white maggie racks from ikea again lol to store them in! And of course i love the idea of the IKEA rails for my punches so that idea had to stay

♥To finish - robbies making me a new stickles holder as i've outgrown this one, so that'll be in my room this week♥

Underneath isn't finished, i plan to buy some pink material and hang like nets, so it hides all the underneath of the workspace just to make it a little tidy! but here we have drawers of cards, chipboards, nesties, flowers, punches, my 2 12x12 paper racks (full) oopss! and my SU collection along with my other unmounted stamps

I desp need something to go on this wall it's bugging me hehe... will have to make something tho i am a fan of 'keep calm' signs so i'm after one that says keep calm eat cake in pink (dunelm sell them but it's A3 i only need A4) so if anyone sees one let me know!! all my buttons and flowers and brads (yep more) and eyelets (again more) are sorted into drawers... Can't take credit for that idea it was emma's (emmas my DT buddy on charisma) but lives close by

This section isn't finished either.... those two stands holding pens and inks and other bits have got to be sanded down this week and painted white to match... but... ya know me inpaitent!!!

Underneath we have A4 pink boxes i brought from home bargains for 99p each these store my 6x6 papers in which you can get two lots side by side, and in companys of course, cd cases full of clear stamps ready to go into new storage once i get paid, cardstock and scrapbooks and then my magnolias (OOOO HOW I MISSED YOU!!!)

My last corner... full of all sorts, the top shelf is full of wooden stamps penny black, housemouse etc to name a few... second shelf down will be those spotty jars on the desk but i'm waiting for hubby to finish making the pole which will hold all my clear stamps in packs to dangle (again this is to do! lol) and my pink lappytop will live here!

Ok!!! i confess i have two boxes left to sort but i'm waiting on hubbs to get the pole made!!! (any excuse!!) haha

Last but not least i had to show you my spotty pink chairs i ♥ these! such a bargain too! £12 for 2!!!!

So that's my craftstudio up and ''NEARLY'' ready to go!

But i'm thrilled i can finally go craft (talking of which that's where i'm heading!)

Anniversary.... Day 15!!!

Heya all!

I'm back with another card this evening that i just found on my hard drive that i hadn't actually got around to blogging so i thought seems as it's Day 15 now with no craftroom i'd upload and show ya!

Day 15 is going to plan, we're on target for me to move back in on monday morning! Hubby has made a fantastic job, tho it won't be 100% compleate till first week of october as i still need to get various things and material to make curtains to hide things under my workspaces but it's virtually there now!

Only two nights left at work too! So looking forward to having my 2 week break from work and 2 weeks of crafting i think my mojo is about to explode with ideas!!! haha...

The card i ''forgot'' all about was actually My MIL&FIL's anniversary card back in august! I dug out all my softy colours and lili of the valley cute squares, i love these they're so great when your creating a last min card and haven't the time to colour!

The papers are all glittery they're from the nana's nursery DCWV set which i absolutly love! there pastel colours are perfect for subtle sweet cards... I've also used my sizzix scribble swirl die one of my personal fav dies!

Rainbow Fun! Day 14...

Morning all!

Ooo gosh these weeks are certainly flying by arn't they!

I'm so looking forward to sunday my 2 week holiday from work on sunday!! yay!!!

I'm here this morning to tell you about the wonderful new challenge over at charisma this morning is being set by the lovely emma! Now i did create this card before my craftroom was invaded and boxed up, which it's now Day14 and it's nearly DONE!!! yay!!! hubbys been up since 7am drilling and sawing wood it's all exciting!

I spent the day yesterday hunting for storage and things with emma and hubby round ikea etc! hehe.... so more to follow on that laters...

Anyway Emma's chosen the theme...

A little update.... Day 12...

Heya all!

I betcha sick of me now lol.... well it's day 12 of the craftstudio make over and i'm feeling rather anxious about getting back in there, i'm literally pulling my hair out now... new stamps charms ribbons and things have been landing on my door mat all week SCREAMING at me to use them! and i've had to keep them in a pile looking sparkly and new...

**Note to self - next time (tho i dont plan to) leave some craft to one side hehe!**

Well how we doing.... its all painted, Workspaces are in bar one, they just need to be painted on friday, i've given my new orders for shelfs and things to hubby for him to do thursday! and fingers SQEEEEEEZY crossed i can move back in monday!! I SOOOOOOOO can't wait!!!!

So the next few days....

Wednesday i'm off to IKEA!!!! Home of all things sotragey! i need CD boxes in PINK of course and some magazine files to tidy those up! and some white curtains (i have a funky idea not sure if it'll work yet but we'll see), and some chairs!

Thursday is operations fix and paint!!! hehe

Friday it'll be last touches and more shelfs hehe! possible trips for my wood and screws etc haha

Saturday im at work booo hiissss!!

Sunday i'm off to car boot land! hunt for anything woody i can use to paint for my new room!!!

AND

MONDAY MOVE IN!!

I've not posted anymore pics of the studio yet because i'm going to now wait till i'm back in so i'll keep you all in suspence a little longer! just think PINK!!! haha!!!

Seeing Pink & Spots!! Day 9...

Evening all!

Sorry i've not updated for two days been super busy with work and sleeping and well... no crafting yet! hehe!
Tho i've now had my new super white and pink spotty curtains in my craftroom! and i've been out and about looking for things for my new studio!!

I'm terrible for seeing something somewhere in shops and then forgetting where i saw it, so i'm one for sneeky photos around the shop just so i remember! I must admit i have fallen in loveeeee with the NEXT range of all things pink!! haha

Spots seem to be a theme of my new room at the moment mainly becuase of my curtains so there i spy 2 spotty pink chairs... they may be mine pretty soon...

Ok..so i really don't need this love clock but it's pink!!!!!!!!

As many of you know i've two cats, tho i'm pretty sure Strudel won't be happy with a pink spotty bed i think apple might!!! haha

There's not much happening on the designing front till monday as i'm working the weekend... 6 more shifts to do before my holiday! yay!! Hubby thinks i'll be able to move back in a week on monday! I do hope so, i really don't know what to do with myself at the moment hehe!

Morning all!

Thought i'd share some piccys of the new craft studio's colours! hehe
I wasn't going to but hey i can't wait either!!!

I'm so excited its so bright and just what i wanted!

Hubby's brought all the wood so today's task is to put it all together and paint it all!!! and then hey presto i can start moving back in, tho it's not going to be done over night i'm afraid, it's looking like i'll not be able to move back in till the 18/19th! which is my first week of my holiday in sept! so i'm dead excited, i've a few things i need to make myself for my new room so i'm off to do those today!

Coming Along Nicely! Day 6....

Heya all!

I thought i'd pop in and let you know how the craft studio is coming along! I didn't have anything to report yesterday mainly because i was working sleeping and nothing got done pretty much!

Painting is all done now!! yay it's looking rather

hehe!! i must admit i ♥ it so far! Tommrrows jobs are going to B&Q to buy all the wood to make all my workspaces and storage! Thursday it'll all be painted white hopefully!!! fingers squeezy crossed....

As you can probs tell i'm BURSTING with excitement tho i'm seriously missing my craft i'm pulling my hair out!! there's only so much washing and ironing i can do... BORED!!!

So... to cure my boredum but its making me sad because i can't play i'm beginning to sort out some of the load in the other room to thin down my craft stash! (if that's possible) haha!!

I'll be back tommrrow with another update... may JUST MAY let you have a sneaky peek to how pink it is....

Let the Boredum commence... day 4!

Hey all!

Well it's Day Four in the land of redesigning my craft studio and i'm feeling rather....

BORED!!!

Lol.... i didn't realise actually how much time i spend crafting until now! and the more i see the beautiful projects people have been making around blogland the sadder i'm feeling hehe!!!
Welll.... it's day four and the hubby is currently masking the skirting board and window frame to paint the last wall pink tommrrow! Just realised the voils i brought are compleatly the wrong pink! but hey i'll find another use for those!

Still hopping around blogland and tinternet for ideas for storage solutions, i'm pretty much ok with buttons and flowers it's mainly my stamps i've sooooo many its untrue but im impaitent and need results fast!! hehe, any tips on storing 6x6 and 8x8 papers would also be greatly recieved as mine are just bulk sat ontop of desk norm and look untidy!

i'm hoping FINGERS CROSSED tightly that hubby will paint the last wall tommrrow and then wednesday i can go get my wood to build everything in! so maybe done for the first day of my hols but that's 14 days away!

2 weeks!!! ok so out of those 14 days i'm at work 10 nights so it's not as bad as it sounds... wait a minute what am i going to do the 4 days i'm not at work... so here goes 2 of those 4 days i'll be zombied so ill not get much done anyway case of just catching up on much needed ZZZ'sssss so that's whittled it down to 2 days.... but then what about my evenings before i go to work...

OK OK I GIVE UPI MISS MY CRAFT STUDIO!!!!

Evening all!

Well it's day 3 of the craftroom makeover! and i must admit i'm a squeezy bit excited now! I know who's sad enough to get excited over paint???! me,... well it's pink!! and ya know me!!!

I'm not taking pics of the room till it's all in and finished! haha tease you all a little more!

on another note i found out i made top three at Jellypark challenges!!

woo hoo! that cheered me up not being able to craft! Tho i think the designing of my craftroom has come at the right time, seems i now have tendonitus in my left thumb! oh brill.... its been hurting a while but never this bad! i think i may just chop this hand off saves me the hassles!! haha

Ooooo and i made the top 5 at fussy & fancy friday too! yay go me! (makes me sad i can't craft now :( hehe!!

Sweet Little One.... Day Two...

Morning all!

Well it's day two of NO craftroom and i must admit i'm pulling my hair out!! I'm so very bored! lol hehe tho i am back at work tonight so i'll be busy sleeping and chilling all week again, good news is tho my hubbys painting ceiling as I type... so maybe it'll be finished a little ealier.... well fingers crossed haha!

I thought i'd share a very sweet card i made last week yet forgot to upload! It's rare i use my forever friends bears such a shame really as i do think they're adorable!

The sentiment was from very berry PTI stamp set which i adore this little stamp! those lil butterflys are adorable and are my fav embellishment at the moment! I used my swiss dots embossing folder too for my card, i have zillions of embossing folders yet it's very rare i remember i have them and i don't end up using them as much as i should! naughty i know! haha

look i woke up this morning to find....

it's all gone! arrrgghhhh!!

Suppose it was nice of the thief to leave me a table.... not much use without the craftyness!!!

HAHAHAHA! I'm only joking!!! tho they did leave two pots of paint!! My lovely friends Emma & Allison came to help me box my craft room up yesterday and my last late night count of boxes was and impressive 98!!!!!! eeekkkk! considering i only moved to this house a year and a half ago and it was in 20 boxes then! ive erm got some explaining to do to hubby... he's not impressed... the best bit.... i found stuff i didn't know i even had!

I was going to sort out as i packed but gave up that idea when i started the first drawer! lol so i'll sort when i unpack so ya may wanna keep an eye on my ebay account in a few weeks! they'll be LOADS going!!!

i'm soooo excited tho, it's going to be PINK!!!!! YAY!!!! hehe and hubbys building it all in properly for me!!!

oooo the only bad thing is... it's day one and i'm missing my craftyness already!! eeekkk what am i going to do with myself for three entire weeks??? suggestions please!!!!!

I've some scheduled posts for my DT commitments but thats not the same is it.........................

well bring on the boardum i guess (i know i cant spell) now stop all your crafty inspiration things now because im not looking as ill sulk (ok ok i will!! hehe) i cant resist.

Morning all!

I'm back again! I'm missing my craftroom now! as i'm not far from it all being boxed up boooo!! tho i do have a sneaky feeling it's going to be a tiny bit PINK!!! haha i brought my paint yesterday whilst walking around B&Q ummin and arrin over which pink to buy!!! you'll have to wait and see!!!

I can't quite believe it's the 1st of september already!

It'll soon be christmas yet it feel's like christmas was only yesterday this year has gone so terribly fast!

I've two weeks before me and hubby are on holiday from work, he's looking forward to it more than me i thinks as he's not been off since march bless him! he works hard!

I'm here this morning with a brand new challenge at Charisma it's my team's turn again this week and the lovely Jan has chosen the theme Anything goes!

I've dug out my trusty magnolia's once again! I adore this Tilda with balloon i think she's a great lil one for many occasions, as my papers where simple colours i didn't want to over do colouring her so left most of her white to match...

It's a rare one for me but these papers are actually a freebie from one of my crafty mags (apologies) as i can't tell you which one i have so many mags i just take the freebies out and pile them up in once place... if memory serves me right they possibly could be from simply cards and paper crafts but please don't quote me on that!

I've used a mix of ribbons on my card this morning, they're all from the lushious poppycrafts that closed down last year (such a shame) as i loved there products, however ya can still get some from michelle's ebay shop which i was pleased about however they do sell out pretty quick!

I've dug out all my metal bellies again thsi morning i love the added effect these can give handmade cards some are really delecate, like the corners i've used around my tilda image, they were infact a circle to begin with that i chomped apart lol!

Good morning all!

I'm here with a brand new project i've been absolutly dying to show ya all!!

I made it back at the start of august espechially for the new challenge this month at The Craft Garden!

Yup! would you believe i've made a card with absolutly NO Stamping involved! now that is a rare thing for me! Kerry The lovely owner from The craft garden sent all her DT's a mixture of beautiful blooms and bits for our cards/projects this month!

I was like oooooohhhhh and awwww when it came! i absolutly adore the prima butterfly to which i am going to have to buy some more!! haha!!

Don't ya agree it's so pretty in real like! all the crochet flowers are also handmade by kerry herself and has lots of different bloom sets for sale a real must to go have a look at her shop! i know for one i've really enjoyed making my DT card for this month!

Fly me to the moon... taking a blogging break...

Afternoon all!

I know it's unlike me to be posting on a monday afternoon! But i had an early finish at work last night so got 8 hours kip in this morning!

I'm here this afternoon with my latest magnolia creation but also to let you all know i'm going to be taking some time out from blogging over the next four-five weeks... I'll still be uploading my DT commitments and any makes i can squeeze in tho it may be a little difficult as my craft room is about to be all boxed up as i'm redesigning it... i've been pulling my hair out for weeks as, as much as i look organised i'm really not!!!

So the lovely hubby has said he would paint (with my help of course) and make me new workspaces etc! I'm very excited! tho it means the next 4 weeks are going to be tough with not much space or time to craft! as it'll all be in boxes... boooo hisss what am i going to do with all my free time....

Anyways... back to today's project... I've dug out all my space themed magnolia stamps once again, she's one of my favourite tilda's so sweet to colour too! As you can see, she's been coloured with my lovely promarkers... to which i need 5 warm greys to compleate my set!! yay!!!

I've also used 3D gloss to give her space bowl on her head a little dimension and effect of glass!

Although these wooden shapes are actually snowflakes i love them because my project is all about space the stars on them are so sweet! they started off as plain wood so i used some stick n melt glue from stampin' up and covered them in sparkles from SU. I think they're lovely they come in packs of 45 9 different designs you can get them here from Sunrise Crafts.

I've used lots of different little bits for my card today, the arrow with the magnolia sentiment is from pebbles inc chips pack i've had for yonks and thought it was something quirky for my card!, shimmer dots and brads i've dotted around! and used the sweet little rocket stamp on my backing papers, which are from papermania's fantasy collection which i picked up for a bargain price of £2 for a pack of A4!! last weekend at a local garden center! I do love a bargain, tho i'm now on a spending ban until the next magnolia and simply sassy stamps are released :-(boooo!!!

Morning all!

My gosh we're nearly at the end of august already i think it's time to dig out the christmas stash and start with the crimbo cards shortly!

Of course how could i pass this challenge me and glitter are best friends espech stickles!! hehe!

So i knew i wanted to make a cherry card for my cherry tilda so out everything cherry came!

Cherry ribbon, cherry paper, cherry fimo, cherry stamps, cherry dies! ya get the picture!!

it's all cherrys!!

I took a close up of my tilda just to show you her glittery dress and also the tiny fimo cherrys on the punched border i love these they're so tiny and sweet!! the cherry it'self was cut on my biggieshottie another die i brought yonks ago and have not got around to using!!
