Rain But No Snow!

Afternoon all!

It's been a mad past couple of days my kittys have decided to majourly fall out for those who'd like to read the story here ya go! (any advice would be fantastic!) i have two cats, both 4 years old brother and sister, on wednesday they were both fine ate etc in the morning, come dinner they were around my feet and all of a sudden hell broke out they were hissing and fighting like you hear on the streets, i seperated them broke them up from fighting both have wounds on there noses which i've treated, now everytime the boy cat goes passed the girl cat (he's acting normally) she growls and hisses at him, (sometimes to the point where she has poop'd herself and wet herself) then sometimes he'll meow back then they go for round two/three, 2 days have passed now and it's not any better, i split them at night time wed evening, and nothing changed thursday morning, thursday i actually left them together whilst i went out and as far as i know they didn't occur any more scratches etc, however i was awoke at 2am this morning to my boy cat howling when i went out to him they'd been fighting and he'd split his back claw to the point it was bleeding, i managed to stop the bleeding with the help of google and he slept with me the rest of the night, and he's cleaned himself and apart from being a little sore his foot is ok now. The girl cat sat outside my bedroom whilst he was in with me meowing for him, but as soon as i open the door and she see's him she's hissing and spiting at him.
I have checked over both cats and both see perfectly normal when alone and both seem healthy no pain or anything, i don't know what's started it off as explained up above they were both fine, i've tried calming syrup and feliway neither have had any effect. I really don't know what to do, i phoned my vets which they can't understand it either so im relecuctant to take either cat when i dont personally think there is anything medical wrong, not sure if it's worth mentioning the boy cat is all cuddly loves his nudges n kisses whilst the girl cat is timid and shy, that's how it's always been yet she's the one who's instagating it me and my husband have tried getting them together unsussefly he's wanting to nudge her etc she's having none of it. they're both netured and im at my wits end, im so upset tired and really don't want to rehome one cat they've been fine for 4 years and now fell out badly, i've had the advice to try different things which i'll be doing over the weekend failing that i'm going to have to rehome one which will brake my heart but i can't let her continue to hurt him for no reason.
So yeah i'm surviving on little sleep at the moment and i'm back at work it's all horrible situation and wrong time of year! but here's a card i created before all this happend!

  3. Oh Carly I have no advice but am sending a huge hug - I have 3 cats a mummy and two of her litter - they were in a foster home when we got them and the mummy was only about 6 months when she had the kittys bless her - now 2 and half years on the mummy and her boy play constatly but the girl will attack if she thinks she can get away with it - mainly playing but she goes too far she hasnt hurt the others she just ounces on them and the boy winds her up - I do hope your cats sort it out - sometimes if one catches a mouse or has made friends with another cat or even had a cat fight they might smell different - could that be it possibly? Love Scatty xx
